Pretty good backdrop to take my first falls on my placed trad gear🔱 Enjoying taking baby steps forwards in my trad journey… starting to trust my gear placements, and excited to feel more confident on lead. It’s been a satisfying journey and I’m proud I’ve stuck to progressing at my own pace, in my style. Eagle huntress sit (8B)… kinda almost? Regardless of the spotting dab, I was really proud of myself for pulling this out of nowhere at the end of a long session. It had gone from single moves feeling almost impossible to very doable. I’m still learning how to project things outside, and believe I can still do things even if they don’t feel possible within the first 5 minutes of trying… so this was such a good process for me☺️ And this was one of those ‘last go, everything you got’ efforts!! 💩 happens and a safe, close spot is better than any injuries. Sunset evening sessions on the Grit in the Peak District have to be one of my favourite things about living in Sheffield. It also feels like a fitting place to start this new chapter with @norqain and their “Your Life, Your Way” philosophy. I’ve started top rope soloing recently and have been absolutely loving it. It gives me a taste of movement only gritstone routes climbed in the traditional style allows for, but on my own terms. It might not fit the ‘pure ground-up ethic’, but it’s allowing me to enjoy climbing exactly how I want to right now. It’s also helping me refine my gear skills, building anchors and playing around with placing protection whilst feeling safe. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll decide to lead these routes! But for now, it feels so good to get some more climbing in. A good reminder that how you choose to enjoy the outdoors is entirely up to you :) Excited to begin this journey together! 📷: @samm_pratt 25 Sep 2026

Wanderers of Colour Festival 2026! I was gutted to miss the first edition of the festival right before the Olympics in 2024, so I was more than excited to be a part of it this summer! Had a blast hosting a chilled bouldering sesh at Burbage South alongside @peetermanss 👯🏽‍♀️ We all had different experiences and comfort levels climbing outside, but what a good day it was just being there together! Climb Fest!🏙️ It’s been a full on month away with lots of new challenges for me - mostly ones that would’ve overwhelmed me previously! I really feel I’ve grown as a climber (& person) in this time thanks to friends and special opportunities which have pushed me just the right amount and I’m so grateful for! 🫶🏽 With some new found boldness and curiosity surrounding discomfort and the unknown, I decided to take part in @thenorthface ‘s Climb Fest event - a deep water soloing competition in hometown of London. I had a blast!! Digital Crack! Despite visiting Chamonix almost every year for the last decade +, yesterday was my first time up to the Aguille du Midi, and the highest I’ve ever been. Digital Crack has been on my list for many of those 10 years, so it was a dream to finally get up there yesterday and crimp my way up this iconic pillar. Merci to the crew for an amazing day! This was one where I really felt immense gratitude for this life, this sport, and this beautiful planet we get to play on! This idea was born out of learning to embrace my 3C curls, actively trying to care for them from home, to the gym, to the crag. Along with @areyoumad.co , we’ll be helping you to customise your own beanie and make it work for your hair ahead of this winters outdoor adventures. I’m also thrilled to be joined by @ife__iyanu @grifff0 @tinuke_oyediran @wanderersofcolour in a speaker series panel before the workshop to chat all things inclusion in the outdoors, products and community!
