Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen gave us one of those friendships that was impossible not to love.
In this @sagaftrafound conversation, Ian shares the story of coming out publicly, and Patrick’s reaction says so much about the warmth, affection, and respect between them.
Their decades-long friendship meant more to LGBTQ+ fans than Patrick probably ever knew.
Rest in peace, Patrick.
