Perrotin is pleased to take part in the first edition of Signature Art Fair, a new Parisian event devoted to modern and contemporary art in limited editions. Perrotin Editions & Store present a selection of prints, editions and objects born of the gallery’s dialogue with its artists. For this first participation, Perrotin Editions & Store bring together limited editions by artists including Hernan Bas, Sophie Calle, Laurent Grasso, Lee Bae, Takashi Murakami, Jean-Michel Othoniel, Danielle Orchard, GaHee Park, Christiane Pooley, Claire Tabouret, Tatiana TrouvĂ© and Xavier Veilhan. Their practices range from painting to sculpture, and each finds in the edition another territory of expression. 📍 Join us Stand B5, Carreau du Temple, Paris 📅 From November 13 to 15 __ @signaturesartfair #SignatureArtFair #PerrotinStoreParis #Perrotin 06 Nov 2026 We are back at Art Collaboration Kyoto with a site-specific installation titled ‘In the Garden of Love’ by @othoniel_studio. The artist presents this installation for the first time at the fair. This immersive environment brings a new series of sculptures around a sea of pink glass bricks. It unfolds as a luminous imaginary landscape, where the shimmery beauty of glass fountains interacts with representations of golden Sakura flowers. Othoniel’s practice combines hand-blown glass elements, bricks and beads, with a deep sensitivity to material and sensory experience. In this context, water becomes an essential component: flowing, reflecting, and producing a gentle acoustic presence that activates the space and invites contemplation. 📍 Find us Booth KM11 📅 Until November 9 __ @othoniel_studio @artcollaborationkyoto #JeanMichelOthoniel #InTheGardenOfLove #ArtCollaborationKyoto #Perrotin __ View of Jean-Michel Othoniel’s “In the Garden of Love” at Perrotin booth, Art Collaboration Kyoto 2026. Through an evocative combination of monumental animal figures, intricate playground structures, and imagined architectural environments, Ghadyanloo transforms the gallery into a space suspended between fantasy and reality. His new paintings extend the artist’s ongoing exploration of hope, displacement, and collective experience, while introducing a heightened sense of uncertainty through the recurring presence of rising water. Organized by Paula Kroll, this exhibition features immersive environments that explore humanity’s evolving relationship with the planet, inviting audiences to reflect on the urgent realities of climate change and environmental degradation while meditating on nature’s powerful, raw beauty. A new commission, as well as recent works, including video, photography, and installations, highlighting the fragility and resilience of planetary water systems will be featured in the exhibition. The Eric and Wendy Schmidt Environment and Art Prize is a juried award supporting artists whose practices engage critical intersections of art, architecture, design, climate, conservation, sustainability, and environmental justice. Conceived as an assemblage of two separate entities, the work reflects the artist’s ongoing interest in the relationship between human and more-than-human forms of agency. Since 2013, Vermeersch has developed paintings on found and cut stone, wood, and petrified wood. Rather than treating these materials as passive supports, his works allow their physical presence, weight, and geological history to participate in the experience of the artwork. In ‘Untitled’, painting and stone remain distinct while entering into a new relationship—one that opens a space for greater relational freedom. Launched in 2024, the three-continent, three-chapter retrospective ‘Hypercycle’ comes to a close here with its final chapter, devoted to the period in which Chadwick’s work reaches its fullest maturity. ‘Vigilants’ brings together sculptures from the late period of the artist’s career (1978–1995), in which several long-running ideas and series, most of them initiated around 1950, are carried to their furthest and most fully realized and acknowledged point. The exhibition is curated by @mattthieupoirier. Combining his signature ladders, spiral slides and architectural structures with hybrid animal figures and rising waters, Ghadyanloo creates meticulously constructed environments in which familiar symbols of play take on an increasingly ambiguous character. Drawing on the visual language of surrealism and the tradition of Persian miniature painting, his works invite viewers into worlds that oscillate between wonder and unease, where the promise of escape gives way to more complex reflections on contemporary life. The painting depicts a young man selling wilted flowers beneath a “Happy Mother’s Day” banner, alongside a figure on the beach selling shells from a handwritten price list. What is depicted here is both the merchandise itself and the youth and labor of the person offering it. A discount sign taped by the drooping flowers signals a subtle transposition: the traditional vanitas motif—an allegory of transience and vanity—is here applied to the portrait of a living subject. The exhibition ‘TIME TO SHINE! (the salesmen)’ superimposes capitalist display with personal self-presentation, blurring the boundary between seller and sold. Through these mundane, commonplace scenes, the series quietly yet incisively confronts universal themes of value, time, and aging. ‘TIME TO SHINE! (the salesmen)’ is on view through November 11 at Perrotin Tokyo. __ @hernanbas #HernanBas #TimetoShine #PerrotinTokyo #Perrotin __ Hernan Bas, The prodigal son (farmers market, 3:30 pm), 2026. Mehdi Ghadyanloo explores the tension between freedom and constraint through surreal playgrounds, while Takashi Murakami bridges popular culture and classical Japanese painting through his iconic characters, flowers, and gold-leaf compositions. Chen Fei reconsiders portraiture and still life through questions of identity and representation. Wang Fanseng draws on Chinese ‘shanshui’ and ‘zhiguai’ traditions to create fantastical pictorial worlds. 📍 Booth B04, until November 2. __ @mehdighadyanloo @takahipom @chenfei18 @wangfanseng #MedhiGhadyanloo #TakashiMurakami #ChenFei #WangFanseng #ArtTaipei Perrotin __ Mehdi Ghadyanloo, Untitled, 2026 Takashi Murakami, Untitled, 2024 ©2024 Takashi Murakami/Kaikai Kiki Co., Ltd. Drawing on traditional indigo-dyeing practices, the work explores the relationship between textile, material and gesture. The artisans’ knowledge, shaped by seasonal cycles and generations of manual processes, resonates with Denize’s own approach to cutting, layering, dyeing and reworking existing materials. Inspired by the concept of the blueprint as a generative structure, ‘The Mirror Keeper’ takes the form of two facing silhouettes, evoking the front and back of a garment. Between painting, textile and sculpture, the work recalls the guantouyi, an ancient Chinese tunic, and unfolds as a form suspended between image, skin and clothing, awaiting the body that might inhabit it. ‘The Mirror Keeper’ is presented in ‘A Sense of Touch’, an exhibition by la Galerie du 19M Shanghai at the Museum of Art Pudong, Shanghai, from September 25 to November 15, 2026. __ @mathilde_denize @le19m @le19m_at_large @chanelofficial @design_atlas __ Exhibition views of ‘A Sense of Touch’ by la Galerie du 19M Shanghai at the Museum of Art Pudong. This week, JR and Yavachev discussed the process behind bringing ‘La Caverne du Pont Neuf’ to life and the enduring possibilities of large-scale public art.
