Vogue lanceert het Motherhood Issue met @Arizona_Muse en haar dochter Cy op de cover! Het Brits-Amerikaanse topmodel begon als tiener met modellenwerk, maar haar carrière kwam pas echt op gang in 2009, nadat ze haar zoon Nikko kreeg. Rolling Stone zette haar bij de break-out stars van het jaar, ze boekte haar eerste grote campagne voor Prada, stond op de cover van Vogue Paris — gefotografeerd door Inez van Lamsweerde en Vinoodh Matadin — en poseerde met David Bowie voor Louis Vuitton. @KateBellm fotografeerde Arizona Muse samen met Cy en modellenvriendin Hana Soukupová met haar kinderen op Mallorca — op plekken waar de zon vaker wel dan niet schijnt en het ruige landschap je overweldigt. Vogue launches its latest Vogue Man issue with DJ and producer @Mochakk on the cover! Born Pedro Maia in the Brazilian city of Sorocaba, Mochakk spent his teenage years in São Paulo, playing in clubs from a young age. He was already making a name for himself at home when his DJ skills — and boundless energy — went viral in 2022, catapulting him across borders. Four years on, Mochakk is headlining Lollapalooza Brasil with Charli XCX, The Killers and Travis Scott, plays Ibiza’s DC-10 and has performed at Coachella, Glastonbury and Primavera Sound. This month he brings his own events brand ‘Mochakk Calling’ to Amsterdam’s Gashouder during ADE. His sets refuse to sit still: house and tech-house run into Latin rhythms, Brazilian funk, hip-hop, disco, jazz and soul. Vogue travelled to Spain to meet the rising star, where his personality and fashion style hits just as hard as his sound behind the decks. Na drie seizoenen vertrekt Pierpaolo Piccioli @Pppiccioli als creatief directeur van Balenciaga. Wie Piccioli opvolgt, wordt binnenkort bekendgemaakt. “Pierpaolo is een uitzonderlijke couturier en een creatief talent voor wie we het grootste respect hebben”, aldus Kering-CEO Luca de Meo in een verklaring. De Italiaanse designer deelt op Instagram: “Uiteindelijk zijn onze identiteit en waarden het enige wat écht van ons is. Het @MetMuseum heeft vandaag de voorjaarstentoonstelling van 2027 van het Costume Institute aangekondigd: ‘extraORDINARY: fashion and the poetics of the everyday’. De tentoonstelling geeft bezoekers een frisse blik om naar alledaagse mode te kijken vanuit twee perspectieven. Enerzijds wordt onderzocht hoe ontwerpers klassieke kledingstukken opnieuw uitvinden en transformeren tot runwaywaardige creaties. Anderzijds staat centraal hoe eenvoudige, soms zelfs ‘wegwerpbare’ materialen – zoals papier, aluminium en plastic – worden omgetoverd tot draagbare kunst.
