Meet your MRP Run Leader 👋 Emily Mylchreest | Isle of Man
Mud pits, wild wallabies and secret birdwatchers. Wednesday nights on the Isle of Man are not what you'd expect - and that's entirely the point. 🦆
We asked Emily to sum up her MRP group in three words and she gave us: hilarious, joyful, quirky - and then her very next answer proved all three.
Her standout memory from 2025? Watching Sam Bowers launch himself into a mud pit in South Barrule Forest, extend his run while still dripping mud, spot a wild wallaby on the way back, and then casually reveal he's a secret birdwatching fanatic. Truly a man of many surprises. 😂
Why join Emily's group? "Genuinely one of the silliest, happiest corners of the week." You'll laugh more than you planned, forget whatever stress you arrived with, and there's a strong chance you'll end up covered in mud. Chaotic, wholesome and weirdly therapeutic. ✨
On trail running: For Emily it's the freedom, the places it takes her and the people she meets along the way. 🌍
Bucket list trail: UTMB OCC this summer - and then the Dolomites after that. Big plans, big energy. 🏔️
Never skips: A hearty breakfast and coffee. Food is fuel and Emily takes that very seriously. ☕🍳

Meet your MRP Run Leader 👋 Kieron Howard | North Dorset
Warm summer evenings, rolling hills, good people - and absolutely zero mandatory hill repeats. Kieron's group is a proper vibe. 🌞
We asked Kieron to sum up his MRP group in three words and he gave us: happy, friendly people - which is exactly the energy you want from a run club.
His standout memory from 2025? Lots of warm, hazy summer evenings on the hills of North Dorset. The kind of running that reminds you why you started. 🌅
Why join Kieron's group? If you're looking for a relaxed, friendly, chatty group who think there is more to running than just hill repeats and PBs - this is the one for you.
On trail running: For Kieron it's about being outside with like-minded people enjoying different environments. It's always been about the people, not the trail. ❤️
Bucket list trail: "All about the people, not the trail." An answer that says everything. 🙏
Never skips: Nothing - he likes to keep his body guessing. A man of mystery. 🤷

Meet your MRP Run Leader 👋 Sarah Ludlow | Surrey Heath
If you want beautiful Surrey trails, a group that cheers you on at races, and creative Strava art at Christmas - Sarah's your person. 🐕
We asked Sarah to sum up her MRP group in three words and she gave us: friendly, fun, inclusive - and her group delivers on every single one.
Her standout memory from 2025? Putting on extra runs and walks during December to create questionable reindeer shapes on Strava. Festive, creative and deeply committed. We love it. 🦌🎄
Why join Sarah's group? All abilities, all ages, all welcome - with beautiful Surrey Heath trails to explore and spring and summer on the horizon. There really is no better time to start your trail running journey.
On trail running: For Sarah it's all about the scenery and exploring new areas in nature. The hills can be tough, but the beauty of trail running is no one judges you for walking them - and that's when you actually stop and look around. 🌳
Bucket list trail: The Peak District Ultra - she's hoping to run it this year and we are cheering her on. 💪
Never skips: Her watch - if it's not on Strava, did it even happen? Oh, and running with her dog Monty whenever possible. He is, by all accounts, an excellent running companion. 🐕📱
