Now THAT’S a power move. ⚡🌎 On Nov. 5, NASA astronaut Anil Menon and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk stepped outside the International Space Station for U.S. Spacewalk 101, marking a major milestone in the orbiting laboratory’s power upgrades. During the 6-hour, 59-minute spacewalk, the duo installed and deployed the eighth and final roll-out solar array, completing a five-year effort to enhance the station’s power generation system. With all eight arrays now installed, the upgrades increase the station’s power generation capacity by approximately 30%, helping support critical operations and research aboard the orbiting laboratory. Five years of upgrades. Eight new solar arrays. One powerful milestone for science in orbit. 06 Nov 2026 [🇫🇷 version FR👇] Flashback to the soundtrack of EVA-99 prep last August: tools gently clinking together, like chimes in the breeze. 🔔 For me it feels like it was yesterday… but since then, the Expedition 75 crewmates have already performed EVA-100 and EVA-101! Congrats to the @iss teams for these 2 successful EVAs! Well done, teams! #εpsilon 06 Nov 2026 Auroras pulsing intensely through this orbital timelapse. Natural light shows! If you look closely, wisps of the higher altitude red auroras briefly appear within the sea of green before fading away, like sprites from a thunderstorm. Watching them never gets old! 05 Nov 2026 Peak cycle! A flashback from my cycle test 5 days after return to Earth from the @iss. A mask collects the air we exhale to measure the amount of CO2 we exhale (our metabolic rate), and electrodes measure our heart rate and rhythm. Our scientists and doctors use these data to ensure all is well with our cardiovascular snd respiratory systems. Just 5 days after landing and I exceeded my performance from my last test before the flight! Yet another indication that our exercise equipment on the ISS not only maintains, but can increase our fitness level even while in microgravity. 04 Nov 2026 Letting our voices be heard, even from the vacuum of space. Don’t forget to vote! 03 Nov 2026 Astronauts Joshua Kutryk of CSA (Canadian Space Agency) and Anil Menon of NASA will go out on their second spacewalk together on Thursday, Nov. 5, to install the eighth and final roll-out solar array to augment the International Space Station's power generation system. Here are some scenes from their previous spacewalk on Oct. 29 when they installed the seventh roll-out solar array on the orbital outpost. From creepy crawlers to glowing cells, researchers are studying life in unfamiliar places. No tricks, just discoveries! By comparing scans taken before and after the mission, researchers can study how the brain rewires itself to adapt to microgravity and living in 3 dimensions, and how it begins adapting back after the space mission. I had three MRIs at a @dlr.en facility during the first 15 days after my return, and will have one more in about six months.   Brain-DTI helps scientists better understand what’s behind space motion sickness (which I’m happy to say I didn’t experience!), balance and disorientation, and the knowledge gained is also helping people affected by balance disorders on Earth. Go science! 🔬 📸 @europeanspaceagency / @nasa (1), Diana Giraldo (2), ESA – M. Cowan (3, 4)

#εpsilon • @belspo_ • 30 Oct 2026 Today we suited up and sent out @astro_anil and @astro_kutryk on @iss EVA 100. 100 times we have ventured out of the Airlock to build, maintain, and upgrade the ISS. 100 times we have executed highly technical, highly complex, and highly challenging operations as an integrated team. And most importantly, 100 times we have brought our friends safely back inside. With today’s spacewalk, we open the hatch to the next 100- on ISS, on the surface of the Moon, and eventually, on Mars! 29 Oct 2026 More power loading. 🔋 Today, NASA astronaut Anil Menon and CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Joshua Kutryk conducted a spacewalk to install the 7th of 8 new roll out solar arrays. The final new array is slated to be installed during the Nov. 5 spacewalk, increasing the station’s available power by up to 30%. 29 Oct 2026
