The number one mistake we see athletes make? They stop lifting when the season starts. The thinking makes sense on the surface. Legs are tired, practice is every day, games are stacking up. Why add more? Here is the problem. Everything you built in the offseason starts leaving in about two to three weeks. Strength, power, durability. The gym gave you that. The season takes it back if you let it. The athletes who keep lifting in season are not stronger in November. They are stronger in February. When everyone else is breaking down, they are still jumping, still finishing through contact, still fresh for the games that matter. The season does not build you. It tests what you built. How to earn a basketball scholarship or a contract 👀👇 Most players see a clear lane and think: “Don’t get dunked on.” Brandon Knight sees the same play and thinks: “Make the right play.” 👉 He reads the drive. 👉 He steps outside the restricted area. 👉 He puts his body on the line. 👉 He makes the winning play.
