Referencing the transatlantic slave trade, the work explores how language and culture travelled across the Atlantic, transforming an everyday gesture into sculptural space. Discover ‘Triangle Trade’ on your next visit to Ligon’s exhibition, ‘Sit So Your Back Isn’t Against The Door.’ Link in bio to plan your visit.
