Moulay Abdellah Amghar, El Jadida, Morocco. From 7 to 14 August 2026, the Moussem brought together thousands of people for Tbourida, music, traditions, and celebrations. This series focuses on the BTS of the Moussem, looking beyond the main event to the beach, the people, and the atmosphere surrounding the festival. 19 Aug 2026

On August 12, 2026, people gathered along Ain Diab in Casablanca to witness a rare solar eclipse. Nearly 87% of the Sun was covered by the Moon, changing the light and drawing people together to look up at the same sky. The eclipse was part of a wider celestial event crossing the world, but here in Casablanca, it became a moment of connection between strangers. The last major solar eclipse visible from Morocco was in 1999, when the Moon partially covered the Sun. On August 2, 2027, Morocco will once again be under the path of a solar eclipse — this time, a total one in parts of the country. For a few moments, the usual rhythm of the city paused. People stood side by side, strangers and friends, all sharing the same view above them. 12 Aug 2026

A Village in Celebration This photography series captures my experience of spending Eid Al Adha in Ighil Noudikelt, a small Amazigh village near Taroudant, where my family roots lie. Having spent every previous Eid Al Adha in Casablanca, this visit was deeply personal, it marked my first time celebrating the holiday in my parents’ homeland. Through my lens, I sought to highlight the essence of rural life during this celebration. From intimate moments with my family, to the gatherings where everyone comes together to share food, to the joy of the local football tournament organized by the village youth. These images reflect a personal journey of reconnecting with heritage, community, and the quiet beauty of village life during Eid. This series was taken during Eid Al Adha last year (2024) 07 Jun 2025
