šŸ‡ØšŸ‡±santiago, you treated me well! ā¤ļø Strategically, coming to Santiago for the last World Cup of the season was a good decision. I was pretty close to the top 40 in the world ranking, which would mean an additional quota place for Austria on top of the two standard places per country. The plan was to rest a little after Koper and then do one last training block. But I was completely exhausted after Koper and ready for a longer break and an ā€œearlyā€ off-season. My preparation was far from ideal, most training sessions didn’t go well, and I kept questioning whether coming here was the right decision. Coming into this competition, I wasn’t really hyped to compete. But I knew this was my very last chance of the season to make my first World Cup semifinal. And guys, I actually fucking did it. Making it into a World Cup semifinal and finishing 18th in the world is something I’ve dreamed of for a long time. After coming so close throughout the season, finally making it happen felt like a huge step forward. It was a massive relief and validation for the countless hours I spent in the gym this year. My goal for semis was simply to enjoy the atmosphere and the time on the wall. But trust me, I was more nervous than ever before. The semifinal route was really, really hard, but I’m genuinely happy with how I climbed. I stayed composed, avoided any major mistakes and finished 18th overall. Even if the field might have been a little less stacked than at some other World Cups, making it into semis still meant delivering two solid qualification performances when it mattered. And that’s anything but a given. After struggling with mistakes throughout the season, climbing all three routes without any major mistakes means a lot to me. Thank you, Santiago, for giving me this validation. It feels good to know I’m on the right path, and I’ll keep going. Now I’m looking forward to putting climbing aside for a few weeks, trying out some other sports and enjoying a little break before the winter arc begins again. 🫔 huge respect for @jonas_utelli ā¤ļø šŸ“ø @worldclimbing šŸ“ø @tanjamedakovic 27 Oct 2026 Who did it better?āœŒšŸ» Last sesh āœ”ļø - go time tomorrowšŸ˜Ž Thanks @bloclab_climbing for the sesh!šŸ”„ @austriaclimbing @heeressportzentrum @lasportivagram 22 Oct 2026 Always love coming back to Koper, but unfortunately, this weekend didn’t go to plan. Route 1 started well, but an early toe-hook slip dropped me way too early (slide2). The second route was much better, and I managed to fight hard, but one good run wasn’t enough to make up for that mistake at this level. A slip like that can instantly cost you a spot in the semifinals. Now I’m taking a few days to enjoy some rock climbing in Arco, followed by a proper training block. Santiago is coming up in a couple of weeks for the final comp of the season, and I’m ready to give it everything to finally secure that semifinal spot. @austriaclimbing šŸ“ø @dimitris_tosidis @worldclimbing 07 Sep 2026 powerā€˜s back just in time for koper! my first 8a on this board ISLAM~8a 02 Sep 2026 EC OstermundigenšŸ‡ØšŸ‡ Back in the final! After the rather disappointing first EC in Žilina two weeks ago, it felt good to make it back to the last round. Real talk though, I never really got to fully fight on the wall. Qualis, Semis, and Finals all felt like I couldn’t push to my absolute limit, even though I felt super good again. Still, hyped with 5th place and taking the win where I can. Already looking forward to some harder routes at the European Championship in Laval this weekend, and then Koper World Cup right after! @austriaclimbing @heeressportzentrum @sporthilfe.at @olympiazentrumtirol 25 Aug 2026 Not my best performance - I got sick the day before the comp and was dealing with some finger pain on the wall. Still, finishing 10th is a result I can live with. I won’t lie, it hurts a bit knowing I probably had more in me, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. Next up is Ostermundigen in a couple of days - looking forward to getting back out there and ready to go all in. @austriaclimbing @sporthilfe.at @heeressportzentrum @olympiazentrumtirol šŸ“ø @ketyidody 19 Aug 2026 WC Chamonix šŸ‡«šŸ‡· Looking back at the videos, I actually felt really good on the wall, and my performance wasn’t bad at all. It was also my best World Cup result so far. Still, seeing my final result hurt. Finishing 26th, just two places away from my first World Cup semifinal, was hard to accept. I’ve been close a few times this season, but in the end, I just haven’t been good enough to make it through. I’m not going to blame bad luck or make excuses. Right now, I’m simply not where I need to be to be among the top 24 in the world. At the same time, results like this only make me want it even more. I’ll take the lessons from this competition, make a few adjustments in training, and keep working. My focus is now on the European Championships and the World Cup in Koper in a few weeks. The goal hasn’t changed. šŸ“· @worldclimbing @austriaclimbing 16 Jul 2026 3/6 World Cups done. I’m happy with how the first three World Cups have gone so far. At the same time, it’s frustrating to have come so close to the semifinals every time without quite making it. Still, every competition is another step forward. Every experience is another lesson, and every lesson brings me closer to where I want to be. I’m more motivated than ever to keep working, trust the process, and give everything I have in the remaining World Cups. The goal hasn’t changed—and I know it’s only a matter of time before everything comes together. See you all in Chamonix next week. šŸ“ø @ansichtssache.photography X @austriaclimbing X @worldclimbing 29 Jun 2026 šŸ„‡gold at the austrian championships was always something i only ever dreamed of. so happy that i managed to stay calm and make this happen. now im even more motivated for the upcoming world cups starting already next week in chinašŸ‰ all of that would have never been possible without my teammates, friends and especially my parentsā¤ļø thank you for making moments like these so special! huge thanks to yall: @kelag.energie @kaernten_sport @sporthilfe.at @naturfreundevillach @naturfreunde_kaernten @naturfreunde_at @austriaclimbing @heeressportzentrum 29 Apr 2026 Exciting finals see Jessica Pilz and Felix Mader take Austrian Lead crowns šŸ‘‘ šŸ„‡ @jessy_pilz 🄈 @mattea.poetzi šŸ„‰ @schwaigerines šŸ„‡ @felixmader_ 🄈 @leitnerchrissi šŸ„‰ @georgparma #austriaclimbing šŸ“ø: @nilslang_ 25 Apr 2026 2025 on the one hand, im not completely satisfied with my performance, but on the other hand, im very happy with what ive experienced this year. im so glad to have you all and im really looking forward to another year with you. im already training hard again and hoping for a successful 2026. thank you to all my loyal sponsor for believing in me once again! @kelag.energie @kaernten_sport @naturfreunde_at and huge thanks to @austriaclimbing for making all of this possible 27 Dec 2025 European Youth Championships Zilina I haven’t enjoyed climbing as much as I did at this competition in a long time. I climbed like myself in every round, and I think that’s what got me through to the finals. I’m super happy that I could show what I’m capable of, even in the finals. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my 3rd place and happy to end the youth era with such a strong result. There are still a lot of things I need to work on, but now it’s time to focus on the last comp of the season: the World Cup in KoperšŸ‡øšŸ‡® I had a really good time at my last youth comp with the @austriaclimbing team šŸ™ slide 3: be careful with the volume of your phone - @rafi_kazbekova was cheeringšŸ’• really appreciate your supoort: @kelag.energie @kaernten_sport @flowmocean.moves @naturfreunde_at @naturfreunde_kaernten @naturfreundevillach 01 Sep 2025
