Surprised i found myself on top of "Magnolia rechts sit" (8b+) today, which marks the first repetition of the line established by Tom (As far as i know). It wasn't the kind of go where everything falls in line perfectly. More like the kind of go you just refuse to let go. Now the obvious link-up that's missing is to exit in an 8b called "Rückkehr des Königs". Our summer-trip to Kalymnos is coming to an end and as always it has been a blast! A few days ago i managed to climb this route called "Fail to Send" in Little Eden. A rather remote crag near Vathy. There's not alot of Info about past ascents online, to me it felt like a solid 8b+, harder than the 8b (Going Nowhere fast) right of it. Anyways quite the interesting mantle-lock-off sequence shown in the clip. Felt good to be back in the "Innsbruck groove"! Competing has been a huge part of my life, and even though I stepped away from it more than three years ago, I still think about it regularly. My motivation for rock climbing and the will to improve as a climber have not disappeared since I left the competition scene, and I plan to keep it that way for as long as I feel healthy and have fun doing so. I’m happy that I could stand on the podium in bronze 🥉 behind the young guns @leitnerchrissi and @felixmader_!
