Want to do something good on your day off? We have just the thing.
Lenacapavir is a groundbreaking global health innovation: with just two shots a year, it can prevent HIV. But Gilead, the company that manufactures the medicine, charges $28,000 per year in the US, when it could cost as little as $40.
We’re standing up to Gilead and need you to stand with us. Tell Gilead why global access to health care matters. Sign our petition (link in bio). Help us spread the word.

A brief check on her home in the southern suburbs of Beirut⬇️
MSF field communications manager Maryam Srour recorded her experience traveling back to collect some belongings. “There was no way of knowing if the house was still standing,” she said. The area where she used to live is now heavily damaged and largely abandoned. Luckily, Maryam's home was still there.
Most of MSF’s staff in Lebanon are displaced, as are the patients they serve, but like Maryam they continue to show up to provide urgent health care, distribute relief items, and support hospitals and health centers.
A joint US-Israeli military assault on Iran at the end of February triggered a sharp escalation in violence across the region. Israel then renewed a massive bombing campaign across several areas of Lebanon and issued mass evacuation orders, forcibly displacing more than a million people.

“We did what we could. Remember us.”
These words were written by Dr. Mahmoud Abu Nujaila on October 20th, on a whiteboard normally used for planning surgeries.
He was killed by a strike on Al Awda Hospital on November 21st in #Gaza
The same strike killed another MSF doctor, Dr. Ahmad Al Sahar, as well as a doctor working with Al Awda, Dr. Ziad Al-Tatari. Other medical staff were severely injured.
“Remember us."

No, it’s not an eye exam. It’s EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
It’s a style of therapy that helps patients process traumatic memories and alleviate symptoms of PTSD. And it’s one of the ways MSF teams in Ukraine are helping patients at our mental health clinic in Vinnytsia.
Four years of full-scale war in Ukraine have exposed millions of people to repeated traumatic events, prolonged uncertainty, displacement, bereavement, and chronic stress. The cost of this war is more than physical, and MSF is working to ensure that no one is forced to cope in silence. EMDR is just one way of the many ways we’re doing that.

After three years of war, displacement, and destruction in Gaza, Palestinians continue to face difficulties accessing essential supplies, including safe water.
Damaged water infrastructure can’t be repaired because Israeli restrictions are blocking the entry of spare parts, engine oil, equipment, and other crucial materials. So many people in Gaza continue to depend on emergency water trucking, a vital but insufficient solution that cannot meet the increasing scale of needs across the Strip.
Israeli authorities must lift restrictions on essential supplies — now.

South Sudan's health safety net is collapsing.
Donor funding cuts and the withdrawal of humanitarian organizations have put an unmanageable strain on an already collapsing health system – leading to preventable deaths.
Swipe through to see why urgent funding is needed to support the people of South Sudan.

Measles vaccination coverage in Sudan has plummeted from 80 percent to 46 percent in just two years. This isn’t because parents are refusing care – they just can’t access vaccination amid the war.
MSF calls on health authorities, donors, and UN agencies to fund and facilitate mobile and catch-up vaccination across Darfur and the rest of Sudan.

Victoire spent 23 days at MSF’s Ebola treatment center in Butembo, and every day his wife Kasoki sat with him, keeping him company on the other side of the plexiglass. At night, his brother would take over.
Ebola is a terrifying disease that frequently infects caretakers and health care workers like Victoire, who thinks he likely was infected with Ebola working at another hospital as a nurse. Fortunately, the inclusion of windows in treatment centers means that family members who want to support their loved ones through the stress and uncertainty of this deadly disease can do so while keeping themselves safe from infection.
“Kasoki’s presence really is part of my care,” Victoire said, “I feel comforted. When I see her, it reduces my stress.”

Survivors of sexual violence are at greater risk as new restrictive policies imposed by the de facto authorities in North Kivu province, eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, impede their access to care.
Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) calls for immediate action from the authorities to ensure that care for survivors of sexual violence is protected, confidential, accessible, and focused on health needs.

MSF teams in Gaza witness the devastating consequences of severe burns on Palestinian patients every day. Some have suffered extensive injuries from Israeli airstrikes, while others have sustained burns from cooking in overcrowded tents or over open fires.
We treat these patients using 3D-printing technology, but Israel is blocking the essential supplies we need to continue this care.
Israeli authorities must allow the unrestricted entry of the medical materials needed to treat patients now.

@GileadSciences, we know what you did last quarter.
Join our campaign. Tell Gilead to drop the price and boost global supply of lenacapavir. Two shots. $40. Everywhere. #lenacapavir
30 Oct 2026
Gilead just released its Q3 financial results. The numbers are big, but so is the access gap to lenacapavir, a vital HIV prevention medication.
Lenacapavir requires just two shots a year and is nearly 100% effective at preventing HIV, but it is out of reach for millions around the world.
@GileadSciences: drop the price, increase global supply, and sell lenacapavir directly to MSF.
