Introducing @kindaalloush for She Who Wanders. For Kinda, home is not defined by geography alone, but by the people, memories and experiences that make a place her own. Syria holds the imprints of her childhood and youth, while Egypt has become home to a different chapter of her life, shaped by motherhood, family and personal growth. Between the two, she has found a sense of belonging that leaves room for both, without asking her to choose one over the other. Through the many transformations of life, Kinda has come to understand that identity is never fixed; it grows with us, carrying the tenderness of where we began into everything we become. In She Who Wanders, she reflects on the places that shape us, the people who anchor us, and the meaning of finding home wherever life leads. @SceneStyled: #StyledAD: Matteo Zappalà has spent more than two decades among Italy’s great custodians of tailoring, from Zegna and Loro Piana to Pal Zileri and Canali, where the distinction between a good jacket and an exceptional one may reside in the fall of a shoulder or the suppleness of leather. Now CEO of Concrete Egypt, he faces a different question: how does a fashion house familiar to generations of Egyptians introduce itself to the rest of the world? Zappalà joined Concrete as COO in 2024. Founded in 1989, the house built its reputation on menswear before extending its vocabulary into womenswear. Its Fall/Winter 2026 collections offer an early indication of what he intends to preserve. Walking us through both lines, Zappalà keeps returning to touch. There is nappa leather worked in matelassé, understated nubuck jackets, and knitwear whose three-dimensional stitching makes texture a form of expression. For women, sartorial structure meets the warmth of layered knits; for men, minimalism puts the quality of the materials on display. Concrete already has a presence in the UAE, and Zappalà is looking beyond the region. At a moment when Egyptian independent designers are seeking international audiences, Concrete approaches the same ambition with a different inheritance - decades of domestic recognition. The challenge is to make that history travel without sanding away what makes the house Egyptian.
