Cairo Food Week returns for its 4th edition 24 Sep-3 Oct, 2026 17 Feb 2026 Cairo Food Week returns for its 4th edition 24 Sep-3 Oct, 2026 17 Feb 2026 Cairo Food Week returns for its 4th edition 24 Sep-3 Oct, 2026 17 Feb 2026 For @cairofoodweek ’s final evening, Palm Hills One welcomed Brazil’s @manubuffara for a dinner that brought Brazilian flavors into dialogue with Egyptian seasonality. Her approach gave the menu a sense of freshness and contrast, making for a closing dinner that felt both generous and distinctive. 06 Nov 2026 Downtown Cairo is not just the venue, it’s the destination with @msquaredev & @mazeejbalad Balad at @cairofoodweek . The 4th edition winded down in the heart of Cairo with Chef @_francescobrutto presenting a tasting menu of @venissa_tenuta ’s signature flavors against the skyline of the city centre 05 Nov 2026 On Cairo’s west side at @palmhillsdevelopments , @scaliniegypt hosted The @thecocochine Chef @larry_jayasekara for a two-night dining experience. Larry brought together the French technique that underpins his cooking with the South East Asian influences that shape his food, creating a menu that felt refined, layered and full of personality, while still offering something fresh and unexpected to Cairo. 04 Nov 2026 As @cairofoodweek ’s Downtown District powered by @msquaredev came to a close, @studio.samara.eg transformed its stage for an evening of music, movement and spectacle. Cocktails by @the.bar.in.front.of.the.bar became a defining part of the night, carrying the evening into a mood that felt theatrical, electric and unmistakably Cairo. 02 Nov 2026 At @luhv_tlt , one of the most familiar staples on the Egyptian table took center stage. Chefs @dinewithdeenuh (LUHV by TLT) and @claradayoub (Maison Choc) along with host @chef_mirette_aly built a dining experience around baladi bread, opening with a short film shot for the UN World Food Programme by @tayarahworld , & directed by @hayawkhairat . The experience then unfolded into a menu rooted in local ingredients, sustainability and the traditions that bring people together. 29 Oct 2026 #EatsAd: Cairo Food Week’s fourth edition ended at Palm Hills One, where The Glass House became the dining room for a closing dinner by Brazilian chef Manu Buffara. Her menu moved between picanha, hamachi and crawfish, but the evening also placed the development itself in the foreground: after ten days of CFW moving through restaurants across Cairo, its final gathering took place not in a conventional restaurant, but inside a social space embedded within a residential address. That is central to the thinking behind Palm Hills One. Conceived around the relationship between homes, landscape and shared spaces, the development treats what happens between residences as part of the experience of living there. The Glass House gives that idea a physical centre: transparent, open to its surroundings and flexible enough to move between intimate gatherings and larger cultural occasions. The dinner also completed Palm Hills’ wider journey through CFW 2026. Earlier in the week, Bo Bech cooked at Mamina’s, Gabriela Chamorro entered Izakaya’s kitchen and Larry Jayasekara took over Scalini at Palm Central, while Fayçal Bettioui brought the partnership east to Palm Hills Katameya. Ending at Palm Hills One pushed that idea beyond the restaurant altogether. Buffara’s dinner briefly transformed a piece of the development’s social architecture into part of Cairo Food Week itself. For Palm Hills, it offered a particularly literal expression of “changing the living experience”: an address functioning not simply as somewhere to live, but somewhere food, culture and gathering can become part of everyday life. Known for his restrained, ingredient-led approach, Bo drew from the character of local produce and familiar culinary references, translating them through his own contemporary lens for an experience that felt refined, thoughtful and quietly unexpected. 07 Oct 2026 Downtown Cairo is not just the venue, it’s the destination with @msquaredev & @mazeejbalad at @cairofoodweek . The 4th edition winds down in the heart of Cairo with Chef @_francescobrutto presenting a tasting menu of Venissa’s signature flavors against the skyline of the city centre. 04 Oct 2026 @SceneEats: At Palm Hills Katameya, Cairo Food Week arrived on the east side of the city with hamachi, foie gras, lobster and a rather significant change of address. Michelin-starred German-Moroccan chef Fayçal Bettioui took over The Live Kitchen, operated by SAGE, for a dinner that moved from hamachi with daikon and tomato dashi to foie gras with baked Granny Smith apple, lobster with carrot, citrus and bisque, cod with celery and yuzu beurre blanc, and beef with potato and veal jus. The location was part of the story. For several editions, Palm Hills’ relationship with Cairo Food Week had been firmly rooted in West Cairo. In 2026, it crossed the city. Palm Hills returned as West District Partner for the fourth edition of Flavor Republic’s ten-day citywide programme, while expanding its footprint across Palm Central, Palm Hills Katameya and The Glass House at Palm Hills One. It offered a particularly tangible interpretation of the developer’s proposition that it is “changing the living experience” in Egypt: treating restaurants, hospitality and places to gather not simply as amenities attached to residential communities, but as part of how those communities are actually inhabited. Palm Hills Katameya represented the more consequential geographical shift. Bringing Bettioui into the SAGE-operated Live Kitchen extended a CFW partnership historically associated with Palm Hills’ western communities into East Cairo, with international culinary talent becoming part of the social life of another Palm Hills address. Together, the programme made Palm Hills’ claim of “changing the living experience” rather more literal. A residential address was also somewhere to eat, gather and encounter a visiting Michelin-starred chef; and a Cairo Food Week partnership once concentrated in the west now stretched across both sides of the capital. This year, bringing Cairo Food Week west was no longer the whole story. Palm Hills was taking it east, too.
