Plan your parking and rideshare ahead of time! 🚧 Congress Street will be closed to vehicles from Toole Avenue to just east of Scott Avenue from 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, to 3 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1. 🅿️ Park Tucson will begin hooding meters along Congress Street at 10 a.m. Saturday to help clear vehicles before the closure. Check the map for nearby parking garages and surface lots, and visit tucsonaz.gov/park-tucson for more parking information. Nearby parking options include: 📍 Toole Avenue Parking Lot — 201 E. Toole Ave. 📍 Triangle Parking Lot — 225 E. Pennington St. 📍 Pennington Street Garage — 110 E. Tucson parents are seriously sleeping on this playground. 😴🛝 Santa Rita Park is officially back after a full makeover, and we were not ready for how good it looks. A fully shaded playground, a splash pad with shaded seating, shaded ramadas for snack breaks, walking paths, fresh restrooms (iykyk), new baseball fields, and a skate park for your big kids. Heads up: the splash pad closes for the season on October 31, so this weekend is your last splash until spring! 💦 Don’t miss the new mosaic mural and metal benches. The artist built them from stories longtime neighbors shared about the park, so take a minute to look closely with your kiddos. 📍 401 E. 22nd St. Save this for your next park day, and tag the mama friend you’re meeting there.
