Been a wild long weekend in Japan 🇯🇵 being part of @bespoked.cc Osaka HANDMADE BIKE SHOW with Jimmy and Taylor! We decided to showcase some of the bikes we made and painted @candyfactory_paintworks ourselves in Melbourne alongside some of our larger volume production steel. We brought our new Kevin of Steel, the Big Kev 32, our GMX+ Steel V2 (soon to be released) and of course, the bike we just finished our @curvecycling South Africa 🇿🇦 Expedition on the week prior, as well as the media wagon at @the_rhino_run - upon reflection a bit nuts, but nothing worth doing is ever easy right? Being part of the cycling community is really special for us, and meeting so many frame builders, customers, distributors, and bike shops has been wonderful. Having the opportunity to share knowledge, offer our products like forks, bars and other parts & accessories we make to support the frame building community is not only rewarding but a genuinely good thing to do. If you can, you must. We’ve learned a lot from being here and continue to be excited about the industry in general as well as our place in it. Thanks so much for visiting our little booth. The UpRock V2 is Curve’s most versatile off-road option. We’ve just gone and made it more capable (and faster?) by upgrading it to 32” wheels. For Sea Otter Australia we’ve teamed up with FSA, who’ll be taking the UpRock 32 to the MTB-centric show in Batemans Bay. Meet the UpRock 32" heading to Sea Otter Australia with the legends from FSA! Once again we've teamed up with the FSA team to jazz up a show bike for the second edition of Sea Otter Australia in Batemans Bay. This is our UpRock 32" Prototype that we first took to SPOKEN in Sydney earlier this year. Complete with FSA SLK Crankset, FSA KFX bar & stem and FSA Prototype wheels, along with the galaxy paint job from Candy Factory Paintworks. First New Curve Belgie Ultra + rolling out the door is this beautiful custom painted build. David asked Steve at the Candy Factory Paintworks for “a paint scheme that referenced the green duco and chrome trim of the 1970’s Alfasud he learnt to drive in” and well it’s an absolute stunner. The Belgie Ultra + builds on the classic endurance road design of the Belgie Ultra but with some extra features for randonneur style riding, hidden fender mounts, internal dynamo routing, clearance for 700x40 with fenders or up to 700x45 without. 13 Oct 2026
