Proving that in another life she could have been a designer, @juliannemoore puts her signature stamp on a new chapter of city living. The Oscar-winning actor and her husband, film director Bart Freundlich, raised their two children in New York’s West Village, first in a loft and later in a town house with a lush garden—both renovated with Moore’s brother-in-law, #AD100 architectural designer Oliver Freundlich (@oliverfreundlichdesign). But as their children grew up, so did the couple’s needs. Like many empty nesters, Moore and Freundlich decided to downsize, trading their town house for a serene, light-filled two-bedroom duplex atop a 1920s building in the heart of the Village. “I had always wanted this apartment,” she says. “I had spotted it when I was wandering.” Over an eight-month renovation, Moore and Freundlich worked together for the sixth time, preserving the apartment’s prewar character while infusing it with Moore’s passion for design. His artwork has attained a kind of cult currency, circulating everywhere from homes featured in AD to dorm rooms, thrift stores, and social media. This week, @davidzwirner unveils the first major solo exhibition of Nara’s work in New York in over a decade. But while his paintings sell for millions, the next generation of fans may be discovering him through an ashtray, a snow globe, or a TikTok video. Read more on how Nara’s characters became Gen Z’s latest design obsession at the link in bio. The show’s own @lucyhale and @ianmharding reunite on screen this weekend in @hulu's "The 12 Dates of Christmas" and its bringing all the nostalgia. Architect and urban planner Janet Marie Smith traces the legendary 1962 ballpark’s history, from its innovative midcentury-modern design to the changing Downtown L.A. skyline beyond the outfield. The new look is all about dramatically veined stone in dark green or dusky red, sculptural Art Deco–style fixtures, and rich woodwork. Inspired by 1930s Milan and the Rationalist architect Piero Portaluppi, bold material combinations and precise geometry turn these utilitarian spaces into showpieces. As the trend gains popularity, new bath collections are borrowing from the Portaluppi vocabulary, offering ways to incorporate patterned stone, geometric forms, and saturated color without a full-scale renovation. Muted hues, wallpaper with natural images like leaves or rivers, and vintage rugs that soften up the wood floors create a cozy yet elevated mix that makes the Georgian-style house feel welcoming. With @ruardveltmanarchitecture and @stanwickdunhambuilders handling the renovation, Decker took on the interiors herself, preserving the home’s traditional influence while making room for color and everyday life. Take a cue from her approach with botanical upholstery, gingham curtains, and touches of green, Decker’s favorite color, to pull it all together. Tour the home and shop the look at the link in bio. Photography @reidrolls.interiors; Interior Styling @s.m.sourcing; Words @julietizon 05 Nov 2026 As their onscreen alter egos feather their nest, "Nobody Wants This" creator @erinfoster and her husband, music executive @simontikhman, are starring in a new season of their own, moving into a 1920s Los Angeles home that mixes undefinable colors and bold pattern play with the “European flavor” of an old-world estate. Researching the house’s roots, Foster found Spanish, Mediterranean revival, and English influences, and the couple felt free to embrace all three. With designer Joyce Pickens Dinwiddy of @jdpinteriors masterminding its four-year renovation, the couple craved classicism their way—something “cozy, young, and playful but sophisticated at the same time.” Tour the couple’s LA home at the link in bio. Among its historic homes is an 1830s farmhouse that once belonged to the county doctor, who saw patients there in the early 1900s. Today, the nearly 200-year-old residence has found a new chapter in the hands of Washington, DC–based designer Melissa Colgan of @melissacolganinteriors, who—with the help of architect Alexander Smith of @mortarandthatch—transformed it into a pattern-packed countryside escape for her family without losing sight of its past. Director @joeldaviddd; DP @kevindynia; Senior Producer @lyssmarino; Associate Producer @indigoabigail 04 Nov 2026 In his New York studio apartment, @kiron_akeem found imaginative ways to maximize the small amount of square footage, including transforming a nook intended for a walk-in closet into a sleeping area and building a new wardrobe from scratch. The final space allows for creativity, wellness, and, of course, storage. Watch the full episode of Small Spaces presented by @onepeloton at the link in bio. Director @joeldaviddd; DP @kevindynia; Senior Producer @lyssmarino; Associate Producer @indigoabigail 04 Nov 2026 At first glance, this seaside villa in Sardinia looks less like a home and more like a seashell sculpted by the wind. Designer @federica_gosio describes the home as “an arch over the sea,” a reference to its signature pointed arches found throughout the hallways and doors, including a custom-designed iron door by Daniele Mingardo (@daniele_mingardo_official). With its organic geometries and natural materials inspired by the earth and sea, the whitewashed structure follows the contours of the lush Mediterranean landscape that surrounds it, celebrating its magnificent setting.
