Why are some paintings so hard to finish? I have three works that are almost over (and dozens of other unfinished ones) and I just can’t do it!!! This one I liked so much at the beginning and now I don’t know when it is going. One of my major dilemma is always the background. Even if I plan a piece, it always wants something else. A close up of the first one. I tried to oil it a little bit to see the real colours and find out if maybe my brain will allow me to end its agony. But no, it is not the moment now.
