The Guardians of the Sleeping Earth October 31. The last day of October. The earth is slowly falling asleep, preparing for its long winter rest. Yesterday’s Summer Summer has already gone, but its warmth still lingers in the sunflowers. They stand quietly in the evening light, their golden faces carrying a gentle sadness. “Waiting for the Morning Sun” The October evening slowly gives way to night. The last light fades on the horizon, leaving a chill in the air and a quiet sense of the darkness to come. Perhaps the night will be cold. Fragile sunflowers, their golden faces turned east, stand still in silent anticipation — as though holding the memory of the sun within them, trusting in its morning warmth. 🇺🇦 «В очікуванні ранкового сонця» Жовтневий вечір поволі схиляється до ночі. Painted in the south of France, packed while still fresh, and unpacked in my studio after a journey of nearly 2,000 km. 🎨 These two oil paintings are French size F40 (81 × 100 cm). Neither painting stuck to the packaging or suffered any damage along the way. By the time I unpacked them, the paint had dried too.
