Ahuuuu

The more time I spend in the forest, the more I realize how much of this world we still don’t understand.
I’ve learned that the Amazon is so much more than breathtaking nature, ancient traditions or spiritual experiences.
It’s home to people with their own histories, dreams, challenges and ways of seeing life.
And the greatest lessons I’ve received haven’t always come from ceremonies or extraordinary moments.
They’ve come from sitting together, listening, laughing, sharing food and simply being part of everyday life.
The Amazon has changed the way I see the world. But above all, it has taught me how important it is to listen before we think we understand…
There is so much beauty here. And so much worth protecting.
The Amazon is not just a place to discover. It’s a world we need to learn to respect and protect 🌎❤️
Which of these 9 truths surprised you the most?
Save this post and share it with someone who dreams of experiencing the Amazon. 🌿

The Amazon is not a place you simply visit. And an Indigenous village is not a place you simply enter.
Behind every experience we create are real people, families, traditions, and relationships built on years of trust.
I’ve learned that some of the most meaningful things in life cannot be bought, rushed, or arranged. They begin with respect, with listening, and with being willing to enter a world without expecting it to revolve around you.
AWANAR was born from these connections.
Not to turn a living culture into an attraction, but to create a space where people can meet, learn from one another, and remember something we often lose in the noise of modern life.
And that’s what makes this journey so different. You don’t just discover another world. You begin to question the one you’ve always known.
Our next Amazon Immersion | August 2027 🌿
Seven days with the Noke Koĩ people in Aldeia Timbaúba, Acre, Brazil.
An intimate experience rooted in genuine relationships, cultural exchange, and respect for the people who welcome us.
DM “AMAZON” for details and availability.
Save this for the day the Amazon becomes more than a dream. Share it with someone who would understand why this journey is different.

Kambô is an ancestral medicine that has been part of life in the Amazon for generations.
Here, you can see how small points are made on the skin with a heated wooden stick before the secretion of the Kambô frog is applied.
The physical effects can be intense. For the Noke Koĩ, Kambô is a traditional medicine used for physical and spiritual cleansing, connected to strength, renewal and the removal of panema, a state associated with bad luck and a loss of vitality.
What fascinates me most is how much knowledge lives within these communities. Knowledge passed from one generation to another, through observation, experience and a deep relationship with the forest.
There is still so much we can learn from the people who call the Amazon their home.

@pakakamanawa once told us that when someone in Timbaúba is unwell, they first turn to the plants.
He spoke about the pajés, their knowledge of the forest, and the prayers they offer for someone who needs care.
Listening to him, I kept thinking: they live surrounded by medicine. What many of us would walk past, they know by name, by use, through knowledge passed down over generations.
In this video, Paka is offering a plant bath. As he explained it to us, this practice is used for protection, to clear negative energies and to invite deeper dreams dreams that may help a person recognise what they are carrying within.
This was one of our moments during the September vivência in Aldeia Timbaúba.
Experiences like this are part of our AWANAR immersions: spending time with the people who hold this knowledge, hearing their stories and learning in their home.
We’re preparing our next immersion together with the community. I’ll be sharing more soon.

A week we’ll never forget.
The people, the laughter, the long days, the nights, the river, the ceremonies, the little moments in between.
Some journeys end when you leave.
Others stay with you.
Missing this crew and these days more than I can say. 🌿
September 2026 , forever part of our story.

Some places you visit.
Others you enter differently.
Walking into @aldeia.timbauba together.
Not knowing exactly what these days would bring ,only knowing that something had called us here. 🔥
The next AWANAR Immersion is already taking shape. 🌿
If you feel the call to be part of the next journey, send me a message. Dates will be announced soon.
See you in the Amazon. 🤎

One of the moments that stayed with us from our 2026 immersion in Aldeia Timbaúba.
The voice of Paka Kamanawa. The songs. The presence. The strength of a people and a land that cannot simply be explained , only felt.
This is just a small glimpse of what we shared in 2026.
In 2027, the journey continues. 🌿
If you feel the call to join our next immersion, reach out to us for more information.
