This is not your typical before and after, I actually donât believe in those.
But, I am teaching you what I did and what I help my clients do to release weight, build muscle and strength and âfeel goodâ in their bodies.
Itâs not as complex as you think. Comment BEYOND to get access to my free masterclass BEYOND CLEAN EATING
21 May 2026
This was me for a long, long, long time. Itâs salad, so itâs healthy, right?
Let me preface this by saying, Iâm actually not a big calorie person, but when I started to go deeper into understanding what was in my meals⌠I was pretty shocked.
For a long time, I thought my body was the exception to the law of thermodynamics (spoiler: itâs not).
I remember going really low carb and loading up on all the healthy fats possible: chicken thighs, olive oil, feta, goat cheese, almonds, walnuts, cashews, avocado, coconut oil, coconut cream, tahini all in the name of preventing a glucose spike
But theyâre heathy fats? 100%
And fat has no impact on blood sugar? Also true.
But they are energy (calorically) dense and even though they wonât spike blood sugar on their own, many of our bodyâs donât need that much energy.
I was feeling sluggish, my pants were suddenly tight and that weight I had released from going low carb (mostly water and glycogen) was now back.
My goal in life is to build strength and muscle and to be as physically mobile and functional as possible and honestly, that doesnât happen easily when youâre eating 1200 calorie salads multiple times a day.
If you have specific body composition goals like releasing weight, gaining muscle, or having better blood work. I now know a much better way there.
Comment BEYOND for my masterclass BEYOND CLEAN EATING and Iâll walk you through what I changed for myself and my clients to now live in strong, healthy, functional bodies.

We have some newsâŚ
After 15 years of building the Living Kitchen together, weâve decided itâs time to part ways.
Our visions of where we want to go and what we want to do have evolved and weâve realized itâs time to follow our separate paths. We have a lot of love, respect and admiration for each other and you may even see us collaborate on cookbooks again soon.
Here is where to find us â

I did this for years.
I would be there, having conversations, looking like I was there, engaged, enjoying myselfâŚmeanwhile feeling self conscious in my body.
Always hiding my lower belly with a pillow when I sat.
How we feel in our body directly impacts how present we are with whatever is in front of us.
Doesnât matter what or who it is.
This is why body changes are an inside / outside job.
And I am here to tell you đ˘ that itâs BOTH: You can want body recomposition and a flatter tummy AND want feel your worth no matter what you look like.
Both require real work.
Comment FEEL. I can show you how to do both in my free training.

How you move in your body is a reflection of how you move through your whole life.
It shows up in how you parent, your relationship with your spouse, how you show up at work, even how you earn money.
Confidence lives in our body. And when we hide body parts of us, weâre hiding parts of ourselves from the outside world.
This actually has nothing to do with weight loss. Itâs just a byproduct of what happens when you start living in your body differently.
I know because I used to do ALL of those things. Hunch my shoulders, pillow to hide the belly, wear baggy t-shirts, suck in my belly. All of it.
Time to stop hiding. Youâre meant to be seen.

I flew to California this week and i noticed two things: the guy across from me was barefoot 𤎠and people did not stop snacking the entire 5 hour flight.
If youâre hungry - eat! But the problem is most people use food to buffer sensations in their body
Bored? Eat. Excited? Eat. Need a break from staring at your phone or computer? Eat.
When we eat to buffer feeling, we disconnect from ourselves, our bodies and often deeper wisdom.
When we disconnect from ourselves - itâs really freaking hard to connect to others.
I donât really care about weight loss. I do care about YOU feeling connected inside and to your body.
Because when you like your body, you show up completely differently in your life. And it manifests in how you parent, how you connect to your spouse, how you show up at your job.
Itâs freaking hard to feel. Itâs even harder being disconnected.

My method works. Period. I know because itâs worked for me and now so many of my clients.
Weight gets released. Muscle gets built. But mostly, you feel so deeply respectful, loving and connected to yourself and your body (which is *really* what I care about).
If youâre ready to make some changes and not from pure discipline and intensity, I have answers for you.
Go to link in bio for my masterclasses this month or letâs just start working together asap. Itâs time.

2 bestselling cookbooks. Zero peace with food. Until I started doing this. (Comment FEEL for my free masterclass or go to link in bio)
My husband says I look like the inflatable guy outside a car dealership.
Fair.
But this isnât dancing, and it isnât a workout.
I wrote best-selling cookbooks. I knew mostly what to eat.
And I still stood at the pantry at 9pm, grabbed handfuls of random snacks while making kids lunches at night, even though I was very full. Desperate for something sweet after every meal.
Knowing is *never* enough.
You canât think or know your way into a different body. Your mind knows the plan., but your body hasnât caught up.
So I train it.
This is where I practice feeling calm, follow-through and steady. Where I meet my doubt instead of running from it.
Where I learn what a boundary feels like in my body, so I can actually hold one at the pantry, at bedtime with my boys, and in relationships.
This is how I meditate. This is how I rewire old patterns. Not by thinking harder, but by feeling my way through.
You donât have to move like this. (Honestly, please donât feel you have to.)
But Iâll teach you how to get out of your head and into your body, so the practical stuff like protein, strength and sleep finally sticks.
Peace with food doesnât start with the food. It starts with feeling.

If you already know soooooo much. The protein, the fiber, the strength training, the gluten, the dairy⌠and still donât feel or look the way you want to. This masterclass is for YOU.
Building strength, releasing weight, becoming metabolically healthy is an INSIDE - OUTSIDE job.
Itâs about the food and itâs sooooo not about the food.
You get there by learning the mechanics of how the body works combined with learning your bodyâs somatic intelligence (if youâre like WTF does that mean - stay with me).
Let me teach you exactly HOW to get there â¨

As someone who teaches a lot about nervous system regulation, especially as it relates to food, emotional eating, metabolic health and weightâŚ
Sometimes we donât need another tool, another shaking technique, another way to exhale⌠we need to dance, move our bodies, sing at the top of our lungs and be silly.
Especially when people are looking, when itâs a little embarrassing and especially when it helps all this energy move through you!
Regulation is not always about calming down. Coming down. Settling down. It can also mean turning UP đ
A regulated nervous system isnât a flat line, itâs flexible. It can rise into excitement, energy and joy, feel safe there, and come back down again. That flexibility is what weâre actually building.
And hereâs the science-y part I love đâ¨â¨ Dancing with other people releases endorphins and boosts feelings of connection. Moving in sync with others is one of the oldest bonding tools humans have.
â¨â¨ Singing (who cares if youâre bad) naturally lengthens your exhale, which is the same thing all those breathing techniques are trying to get you to do.
â¨â¨ Feeling a silly in front of people and realizing youâre totally safe teaches your body it can handle being seen. Thatâs how your window of tolerance gets wider.
Why does this matter for food? So often we reach for food to get a hit of comfort, pleasure or release that our lives are missing.
When you fill yourself with more joy, play and connection, food doesnât have to carry all of that on its own.
Want to infuse more joyful movement into your life???? DM and Iâll send you details for a movement class Iâm teaching soon đ
