Final notes from Jeju. 🍵🌿 Rounding up all the beautiful cafés I visited during my time on the island. Because photo diaries are forever. 🫡☺️ Until next time, Jeju 🧡 📌 @cafe_gyulkkot_darak Café Gyulkkot Darak This little café fully embraces Jeju’s famous tangerines. I’d say it’s more of a spot for the photos than the food itself, but it’s still incredibly cute and worth a little stop if you love all things citrus. 📌 @jejucafeyawon Café Yawon Such a lovely discovery for a peaceful afternoon. Café Yawon has such a tranquil atmosphere, surrounded by greenery. A place that truly reminds you there’s no need to rush when you’re in Jeju. 📌 @slowboat_atelier Slowboat Atelier One of my favourite cafés in Jeju. Imagine stepping into someone’s beautifully designed architectural home, perched right by the sea. Everything about this space feels considered and relaxing, from the beautiful light that pours in, to the way the ocean becomes part of your visit. And the drinks were a hit. 📌 @cafe.nawasan Café Nawasan A charming little café tucked away in the hills, with an indoor-outdoor concept. I loved their mugwort latte, which has such a unique, earthy flavour. A beautiful spot to escape the busier parts of the island and enjoy a quiet afternoon. 📌 @bread_buff Bread Buff A cute little bakery closer to the airport, making it a convenient stop as you head towards the western side of the island. My recommendation would be the mentaiko bread! Comes with a generous hit of garlic - always a yes from me. 📌 @donghwa.cake_jeju Donghwa Cake Shop Everyone is snapping pictures at the famous cafe that sits above this one, but I much preferred this quieter spot. This has to be of the most healing café views I’ve ever come across. Come for the beautiful scenery, stay for the cakes and tea. I could have sat here for hours just admiring the view. 📌 @hoesoodaok You say “tea house?” I say, “I’m already on my way!” Such a lovely, intimate tea-tasting experience that invites you to slow down and appreciate the art and ritual of tea preparation. My guide to a wonderful week in Jeju with @CathayPacific 🇰🇷 I spent just over a week exploring Jeju Island, and it’s easy to see why so many people fall in love with this beautiful destination. From it’s breathtaking coastline to charming cafés and thoughtfully curated shops, I’ve put together a guide to some of my favourite discoveries while I was here. We travelled via Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific, connecting to Jeju on a direct flight with HK Express which sits under Cathay Group as well, making accessing this beautiful island so easy. #MoveBeyond ad Hueree Nature Life Park for the pink muhly 💓 After more than ten years of travelling, it’s moments like these that remind me why I fell in love with exploring the world. A little bit of whimsy and pure joy. I mean, it’s pink grass!! These dreamy pink muhly fields were such a delight, and I’d absolutely recommend visiting between October and November, when they’re at their prettiest. Seongsan Ilchulbong for the volcanic landscape 🌋 One of Jeju’s most iconic natural landmarks, and it’s easy to see why. We originally planned to visit at sunrise, but the weather wasn’t looking too promising. Still, it was such a beautiful place to explore. Next time, I’d love to catch the sunrise here, or perhaps see the famous haenyeo (female divers). Seopjikoji Cape I loved how peaceful and scenic this part of Jeju was, with its rolling grassy hills and beautiful ocean views. The coastal walk is relatively short, taking around an hour at most to return I’d definitely recommend taking your time here to enjoy the scenery along the way. Gwangchigi Beach Easily one of the most uniquely beautiful coastal landscapes I came across in Jeju. We spent an afternoon here, even on a cloudy day, admiring the volcanic rock formations and watching locals gather seafood along the shore. Songdang area for Lifestyle Shops I love discovering local lifestyle stores for souvenirs, and the Songdang area had many lovely ones. I particularly enjoyed browsing Far & East and Ako Jeju, both filled with beautifully homemade pieces and treasures. Wooae Shop Another little shop I couldn’t resist popping into! The first album I ever truly treasured was Metamorphosis by Hilary Duff. 🦋 I still have that CD to this day. From listening to it on repeat in 2004 to singing along to every word and so much more in 2026. A night I’ll treasure forever.
