Hi, I’m Alexandra, and I’m about to tell you something I hid for almost 15 years. I was severely constipated for most of my life. As a kid I begged my mom for Miralax and hid in my room. I constantly felt like my body wasn’t working like it was supposed to. In high school I cancelled a date because I was too bloated to zip my jeans. Studying abroad in France, I went more than 10 days without going, ended up in the ER, and the X-ray showed my stomach so backed up it was a rupture risk. The whole school found out and I wanted to just cry. That was my rock bottom. For nearly 10 years I was a full-time artist. I sold my first painting at 17. I never planned to start a gut health company, but nothing I tried actually worked, and I became so desperate that I decided to build my own solution. I called every manufacturer in the country and every single one turned me down, until one finally said yes to making ozonated magnesium oxide through a proprietary process. That’s Let Loose.
