This wasn’t a battle. It was two artists having fun and collaborating together! Music shouldn’t be a competition. It’s not sports. You can’t force creativity, and creativity can’t survive under pressure. ✨ For me, because of my ear condition, when I’m singing, I have to scientifically place each note in a way that doesn’t affect my ears, making sure that the sound, both internally and externally, isn’t hurting me. So getting through this round meant more to me than words can express. The real competition isn’t with the other contestants. It’s with me. The girl who used to sing freely and fearlessly.
