Mother’s Day can bring such joy and such pain. If you know my story, you know that I had my ovaries removed right before my 13th birthday. What was a full tragedy turned into the biggest blessing of my life. We adopted both Ethan and Eden at birth. We then added our bonus boys the last few years. When your home is surrounded by beautiful trees and landscapes, treat your windows as curated art pieces. We inherited our beautiful trees and I always feel so grateful for their maturity and size. I work really hard to design my own personal home with intention and thoughtfulness. I’m not a fast fashion person and I can’t stand filling spaces just to fill them. I want everything to look like it has a story and was sourced from somewhere special. @jeremiahbrent’s newest rug collection with @loloirugs is unique and timeless. Instead of feeling trend driven, these rugs feel sourced from a custom rug shop somewhere in beautiful France. Walla Walla, Washington is primarily known for it’s world class wine tasting. We went for a different reason, though the wineries are stunning. I wanted to walk the streets upon streets full of historical, charming homes. A few locals told us that Walla Walla works really hard to maintain the history, and it’s very evident. It’s a special place! AND for Batman lovers, Adam West’s childhood home is in Walla Walla.
