Students don’t choose their five digits. But too often, their ZIP code determines whether they have access to music education. This spring, Catarina Barcala Gosende of VML Commerce and Palak Kapadia of Amazon Brand Innovation Lab brought that message to life through "Your Five Digits," created for the Young Cannes Lions Competition. As students head back to school, nearly half of Save The Music grant recipient schools report facing budget cuts. When budgets shrink, music programs are too often among the first at risk. Five digits shouldn't define a student's future. 🎶 Help put music within reach. Donate today through the link in our bio! #SaveTheMusic #BackToSchool #MusicEducation #MusicSaves 18 Aug 2026 This February, music meets technology in the classroom. As we get ready to celebrate another year of music and community in Nashville, we're highlighting the incredible impact this event has made possible for students across the country. At Dr. Emmett J. Conrad High School in Dallas, TX, our Hometown to Hometown grant has helped students explore their creativity through hands-on music production equipment, technology, and new opportunities to bring their musical ideas to life. 🎤 "This program have been very helpful with establishing our Music Production I-II program. Students have access to hand-on equipment and they are able to compose with useful platforms. We just finished the Songwriting Exhibition and 10 entries were accepted nationwide." - April Jones-Sigadi, Music Teacher/Choral Director A heartfelt thank you to everyone joining us in Nashville on November 10th! The training was engaging, interactive, and thoughtfully tailored to the needs of our staff. Teachers walked away with practical strategies they could immediately incorporate into their classrooms to better support the diverse learning and social-emotional needs of their students. This was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our teachers’ instructional practices while reinforcing the powerful role the arts play in creating inclusive, supportive learning environments.” —Tiffany Dominguez, Director, Curriculum & Innovation, Centralia Elementary School District Sponsored by Save The Music Foundation, See It, Feel It, Move IT: Reaching Every Learner in the Classroom was delivered by our talented, music therapist faculty member, John Mews, LMFT, MT. #ArtsAndHealingInitiative #SaveTheMusic #MusicEducation #SpecialEducation #ArtsEducation 29 Oct 2026 Save the Music Foundation and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation were joined by Billy Idol in Downey, CA to announce a $55K music education grant for new band instruments at a local middle school — including a student performance of Billy’s iconic “Rebel Yell.” Swipe for more via Rolling Stone, Good Morning America and HITS —> 🎶🥁🎤🎼 27 Oct 2026 Sponsored by Save The Music Foundation, this short clip showcases a rhythmic activity from our recent special education workshop, See It, Feel It, Move It: Reaching Every Learner in the Classroom. On Wednesday, Music Impact Coalition visited Grifton School in Pitt County, North Carolina, with Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and guitarist Mason Via and our partners at Save The Music Foundation. Grifton received $25,000 worth of instruments along with professional development, one of the first projects to launch through MIC. It was a chance to see up close what this work is for: giving students the tools to find out what they can do with music. Today, as leaders gather in Raleigh for our statewide launch, that’s what we’re carrying into the room. Thank you to Grifton School, Pitt County Schools, Mason Via, and Save The Music Foundation. Swipe through for moments from the visit. ➡️ 16 Oct 2026
