Andy Warhol’s 1986 Camouflage self-portraits have inspired a new limited-edition watch from Swiss watchmaker Piaget. Developed in collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the timepiece features a dial composed of 27 pieces of sodalite, turquoise, and gold arranged in an abstract camouflage pattern. Limited to 86 examples in reference to the year the portraits were created, the watch builds on Piaget’s longstanding connection to the artist, who owned approximately seven of the maison’s timepieces. Commissioned by Kuwait’s royal family, the 2009 example is the only one finished in Fire Opal Red and has covered just 32.9 miles since new. It is also believed to be the only example fully federalized and registered for road use in the U.S., where the model was never officially sold. Powered by a 650 hp supercharged V-8, the windshield-free speedster was created to honor Stirling Moss’s historic 1955 Mille Miglia victory. Aboard Explora Journeys’ Explora III, guests can book private appointments at an onboard Rolex boutique, where a limited selection of new timepieces is available for purchase. During the ship’s inaugural sailing, one first-time buyer secured a stainless-steel Submariner Date without a prior relationship with the Swiss watchmaker, with a tax refund available on the purchase. The experience offers an alternative to the traditional boutique waitlist, with some passengers even booking cruises specifically for the opportunity to acquire a Rolex. The assemblage along Gordon Drive in the exclusive Port Royal neighborhood began with a record-breaking $225 million purchase in 2025, followed by an $86 million acquisition of an adjacent property. Both transactions were made through a land trust, concealing the buyer’s identity. The city has since approved demolition permits for several existing homes and guesthouses, while applications for new construction remain under review. The deal is the latest example of “landmaxxing,” a growing trend among ultrawealthy buyers acquiring neighboring properties to create expansive private estates. The redesigned first-class suites feature sliding privacy doors, Poltrona Frau leather upholstery, and adjoining center seats that convert into the largest double bed in commercial aviation, measuring 80 inches long and 60 inches wide. Additional amenities include 32-inch 4K screens, Bang & Olufsen headphones, and private wardrobe space. The new interiors are scheduled to enter service in the second half of 2027. The surcharge applies to secondary residences, including single-family homes valued at $5 million or more and condos and co-ops worth at least $1 million, while primary residences and rental properties are exempt. City officials estimate the tax could generate $500 million annually, with the first charges expected on property tax bills due January 1. However, the legal battle is far from over, with two separate lawsuits challenging the tax’s constitutionality still pending. Designed in 1977 by Norman Jaffe, the architect known for his sculptural homes in the Hamptons, the five-bedroom property is an early example of his signature approach to geometric forms, natural materials, and expansive glazing. Set on more than two acres in Old Westbury, the 5,291-square-foot residence features a 30-foot skylit foyer, curved walls, pine ceilings, and a swimming pool. But the Utah retreat founded by the late Robert Redford is already preparing for its next chapter. A new 63-room inn and high-speed chairlift are among its latest additions, while weddings and group bookings have increased 30 percent year over year. More than 70 percent of the resort’s 5,000 acres are now protected as a nature sanctuary, reflecting Redford’s longstanding commitment to conservation. The expansion, approved by the actor before his death, aims to position Sundance as a year-round luxury destination while maintaining its ties to Hollywood and the arts. The billionaire retailer purchased the final developer-owned residence at Tribeca’s 111 Murray Street, closing out sales at the 64-story luxury tower more than a decade after they began. The roughly 7,700-square-foot, full-floor penthouse features five bedrooms, 14-foot ceilings, two terraces overlooking the Hudson and East rivers, and interiors by designer David Mann. Now, one of those bags is heading to auction. The black Togo leather Birkin 30, dating to 2009, bears a message Birkin wrote in white ink to her friend Georgia, whom she visited in Athens in 2010 after an Icelandic volcanic eruption disrupted European air travel. Gifted during that visit, the bag is expected to fetch between $45,000 and $78,800 at Bonhams Paris on November 24. The sale follows the record-breaking $10.1 million auction of Birkin’s original Hermès prototype in 2025. Nearly four decades after the Ferrari F40 became the first production car to surpass 200 mph, today’s fastest models are pushing beyond 300 mph, with electric vehicles joining combustion-powered hypercars in the competition. From Ferrari’s latest V-12 to a boundary-breaking Chinese EV, Robb Report examines 15 of the fastest cars available to purchase today and how they stack up in terms of top speed. Inside, custom fabrics, leather finishes, and marble bathrooms create a cohesive aesthetic that complements the natural surroundings. The yacht retains the original ST550’s open layout and 35-knot top speed but introduces more personalized interiors, including a flexible living space that can be converted into a third guest cabin. Outside, fold-down bulwarks extend the cockpit into waterside terraces, strengthening the connection between indoor and outdoor living. More at the link in bio. 📸: Invictus Yacht 05 Nov 2026
