One photo can be a powerful experience 🧡 ❤️ 💙 Beyond the stunning final panoramic, additional images (like this one) were captured to ensure every inch of the stadium was documented for this historic experience! “When people see the photo online or in the new stadium, they can point to where they stood or where they pointed their flashlight to help create the image. It’s an incredible memory for everyone involved,” said Eric Kunsman, assistant professor at @ritntid and co-coordinator. Participating in the Big Shot was both a fun way to contribute to Buffalo Bills’ history and a learning opportunity. “This was kind of a once-in-a-lifetime type of opportunity,” said Rebecca Villagracia, a fourth-year photojournalism student. “I’ve photographed in baseball and basketball stadiums, but a football stadium is so much larger. Dr. Vic Perotti from @ritbusiness is researching how AI in healthcare and smart sensors can support the health and well-being of seniors. Through RIT’s Sense AI project, Perotti and researchers are exploring how healthcare technology can monitor Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as eating, drinking, standing and sitting, to identify changes in seniors’ overall well-being. Designed with privacy in mind, the system uses smart sensors and health data analytics to identify patterns and trends over time.
