🩃 A turkey in the header. Three falling leaves. A “gobble gobble” subject line someone swears gets funnier every year. Yep. Thanksgiving email season is here. And it lands right in the middle of Black Friday week, when every inbox is already overflowing. We dug through the Thanksgiving emails in the RGE collection and pulled out the ones that gave people a real reason to open them. A few things they got right: ✅ A subject line with a joke the email actually pays off. ✅ Something useful before the sales pitch, like a ready-made Thanksgiving toast. ✅ Real deadlines in the copy, so nobody misses the pie order. Because adding a turkey to the header is easy. Making a Thanksgiving email people pick over a Black Friday deal? Slightly trickier. So we broke down what these brands did, from the subject line to the mobile view. đŸ„§ Grab a plate. The full breakdown is on the RGE blog. 06 Nov 2026 Most people don’t plan their May in November. Then again, most people don’t get the best spot by the campfire. â›ș Unspam is coming back next spring, and the planning has already started. The call for speakers, the ticket waitlist, and everything else you’ll want to know are waiting on the Unspam site. Swipe through, then head to our website to see what’s in store, or pitch your talk before the campfire gets crowded! #event #emailgeeks #communitysupport #emailmarketing #unspam 04 Nov 2026 The clocks just went back an hour. You had one extra hour. One. đŸ•°ïž You could have fixed that welcome flow. Rewritten the subject line that’s been “temporary” since August. Instead, you spent it on a third coffee and a 40-minute deep dive into a competitor’s preference center. Time well spent. Allegedly. You get one extra hour a year. Your subscriber gives you a few seconds. These six emails don’t waste a single one. Heist sells coffee without a curfew and proves it with a comparison table worth stealing. Counter Culture built a bundle with three empty slots that practically fill themselves. Oura lets a fist bump punch through its own headline. On turns two words into a holiday concept. Zillow makes a front door feel like a financial decision. And Google found a band that goes from meetings to miles, which is more than your calendar can say. Try their trick on your next draft: cover everything below the fold. If the email still makes its point, it’s ready to send. These were the 6 most viewed emails on Really Good Emails last week. Swipe. Save. And maybe switch to decaf after 3pm. ☕ Inbox inspo from: @drinkheist @counterculturecoffee @ouraring @onrunning.shop @zillow @madebygoogle #emaildesign #emailinspiration #emailmarketing #marketinginspiration 02 Nov 2026 Ever known exactly what email you’re looking for, but had absolutely no idea what to type? Same. Search in the Really Good Emails gallery just got smarter. Now you can describe the email you want like a normal human: no keyword gymnastics, no guessing the magic search term. It figures out what you mean, not just what you typed. Go give it something weirdly specific and see what comes back. ✹ 30 Oct 2026 Fair warning: a suspicious amount of this carousel looks edible. 🍋 Lush named a bubble bar after jalebi and a body lotion after mango kulfi. Soft Services built a buffing bar around preserved lemon paste and closed the email with “Bon appĂ©tit.” Farm to People brought actual pies, plus the people who bake them. Campbell’s brought stuffed peppers, which feels like cheating. Prose’s moisturizer swirl looks a lot like frosting, so we’re counting it. And The Folio Society sent a wasp. Meanwhile, your product page says “premium quality” four times and nobody is hungry. The fix is smaller than a rebrand. Find the vaguest word in your copy and swap it for one specific detail. Soft Services calls its lemon paste “lip-smackingly tart,” and you can almost taste that sentence. It works for SaaS too: “export in three clicks” gives your reader something concrete to picture. These were the 6 most viewed emails on Really Good Emails last week. Save this for your next copy review, then tell us which one you’d eat first. Not the wasp. 😌 Swipe for email design and copywriting inspiration from: @prose @foliosociety @farmtopeople @lushcosmetics @campbells @softservices #emaildesign #emailinspiration #emailmarketing #marketinginspiration 26 Oct 2026 Ever opened a newsletter and found the most important part
right above the unsubscribe link? Kinda like Where’s Waldo, except Waldo is a health alert. In our latest Email Glow Up, we rebuilt a Children’s Health newsletter as an example. đŸ©ș Useful topics, real patient stories, and a respiratory illness alert parents had to scroll all the way down to find. Sent ≠ seen. If a worried parent can’t find what matters, what’s the point? 📌 Swipe the carousel for the before, the after, and a 5-question checklist 👀 Read the full breakdown on our blog and see how a few structural fixes can make your emails easier to trust. You might rethink your next send. #emailmarketing #emailmarketingtips #healthcaremarketing 23 Oct 2026 Your 2026 trend deck is already aging badly. 😅 You know the one. “What’s next in email.” Thirty-seven slides. Three gradients. A section called “hyper-personalization” nobody fully understands. One AI prediction because apparently every marketing deck needs one now. Meanwhile, one of the emails in this carousel is from 2019. And that’s slightly inconvenient, because it still looks good. Some are new. Some have been around for years. But the best ones still rely on the same things: one clear idea, strong brand identity, and a headline that actually does its job. Medly builds a whole Halloween world. Venmo makes product updates easy to scan. Maude turns a referral into a campaign. MeUndies makes the offer impossible to miss. Ash feels more like a magazine than a hotel promo. TAG looked at subtlety and said no thanks. So maybe the goal is not to make your next email look like 2026. Maybe it’s to make something you won’t be embarrassed to find in a swipe file in 2031. Swipe for 6 emails that aged better than most marketing predictions. There’s a Slack channel with a fire emoji in the name. Your subject line draft says “HUGE SAVINGS!!!” because it was 11:40 and you panicked. The doc has 14 send dates. It has zero reasons. The six emails in this carousel each showed up with one. A vote you can cast every day. A phone you can finally pre-order. A brand new journal for the wines worth remembering. A restock with a Yeti shaker thrown in. A welcome that hands you a code. A gift with a three-day clock. Nobody hit send because “it’s Tuesday and we should email.” And somehow they still found room for a serif that looks like a wine label and a very specific shade of game-day orange. So here’s the best Black Friday email idea we can give you this early. Start with the reason, then pick the date. For the design part, borrow from these, 6 of the most viewed emails on Really Good Emails last week. Swipe for email design inspiration. Save it for when the doc hits v7. That spider-web GIF someone got way too excited about in a Tuesday meeting. Yep. Halloween email season is back. Which means inboxes everywhere are about to become clip-art costume parties. We dug through the Halloween emails submitted to RGE and pulled out the ones that actually worked. A few things they nailed: ✅ One strong image doing the heavy lifting. No five-photo pileup. ✅ Simple layouts, with the personality saved for the copy. ✅ Clear hierarchy, so your eyeballs know where to go first. Because making a Halloween email look good is easy. Making one that’s actually well designed? Slightly trickier. So we broke down six design tactics behind these campaigns that still work long after the plastic skeletons go back in the closet. đŸ‘» Steal all six in the full breakdown on the RGE blog. #emailinspiration #halloweencampaign #emails 09 Oct 2026 Your “read later” folder has eleven AI reports in it. You have opened none of them. 😅 Every brand surveyed someone. One report is 64 pages. One has a “key takeaways” section that is somehow 12 pages long. One you downloaded purely so you could quote a stat in a meeting, and you did, and nobody asked where it came from. Later is a lovely place. Nothing ever comes back from it. We’ll admit it, this week’s post is a day late. We got distracted actually opening the emails. Three of these picks are about AI and make you want to keep reading. The other three prove that a handwritten title, a very specific shade of green, and one well-placed italic can stop a scroll just as fast as a statistic. So next time it’s your turn to send the big announcement, borrow a few ideas from these first. Swipe. Save. Open the “later” folder for once. And every single one broke the “rule” we all assume is true. Awkward. We’re not spoiling the why. Swipe through the results, make your guesses, then go see what actually happened on our website! #emailmarketing #abtesting #rgestudio #reallygoodemails 02 Oct 2026 Feelings above the fold.
