In January I had a roadtrip with my mom to see the sunset over the ocean, in February I wrote it into a script, in March two of the greatest actresses #XingchenLyu and #Ailiya delivered their best performance for this film, and in April my film #Magichour was selected by Beijing Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize. Thanks for the cast and crew who made this journey more magical than ever, thanks for my mother to be encouraging and always being my inspiration. The dress that has everyone’s name on it. It took us me, and my styling team 09_space for nearly three months, to receive the waste fabric from @stayreal.ig and rethink and reconstruct into a Vogue red carpet dress. As the ambassador of sustainability in the Greater Bay Area and a fashion model, I believe that it is my mission and my passion to make this kind of things happen again and again. And it was the happiest show I have ever walked back in the city Shenzhen where I first landed with a national champion of rhythmic gymnastics in 1996. The Bonnie is Back! #Meseential 29 Oct 2026

Since the beginning of my career, I have been struck by Eastern aesthetics. At that time, it was my first time abroad; I couldn’t speak English and lacked confidence. In the talent segment of a modeling competition, I danced to Moon Reflected on Second Spring. When I finished, the winners from 60 countries came up to hug me one after another, and many were moved to tears. Later, I won an award in that competition, and somehow I believe it was that dance representing Chinese culture that made people remember me. Later, as a model, I wore designs from all over the world again and again—more often from the West, globally renowned and with real impact. Gradually, I began to think that when I had the chance to express myself on my own terms, I wanted to try wearing more Chinese designs. So starting with the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, I began choosing works by Chinese designers for various occasions. Since then, I have witnessed the rise of more and more talents with Eastern aesthetics. Along the way, there have been more and more kindred spirits who share my vision— and ZHIZHI is one of them. 25 Oct 2026

My story with Lisa S @thelisa_s goes back to 2001, when I went to Hong Kong for a runway show for the first time. She was already a supermodel, and I have always remembered how radiant and approachable she was. The next time we met was during this year’s Spring Festival, when we walked the same show again at New York Fashion Week—it was also her first comeback show. Backstage, I was still too shy to say hello to her, but she came over and asked me: “Are you the Bonnie I know? I remember you were just a kid!” Yes, I was 16 then, and I even had my summer homework with me while waiting backstage. But I was witnessing the golden age of the fashion industry. Having such a senior role model in professionalism and attitude is what has kept me in awe of the fashion industry throughout my later life. Now we each bring our own life stories and chatter, giggle, and laugh nonstop, and our roles have become flexible—we can be both behind the scenes and in front of them. When I was being interviewed today, I was asked a very normal question: why do I still have a passion for fashion. And then, for some reason, I answered with a bunch of high-sounding reasons. Now that I think about it, the reason is actually very simple. It’s because I’m truly surrounded by a group of people who love me wholeheartedly. For example, my photographer Han Minghui—he turns the sunset photos I insist on documenting into oil paintings, and then arranges them into the scene for my photo shoots.
