Some people leave behind memories.
Some leave behind a legacy.
And then there are a rare few, like my father, Sunil Dutt, who leave behind humanity itself as their greatest gift to the world.
On your death anniversary, I don’t just remember the actor or the leader people respected and admired. I remember the father whose strength was always wrapped in kindness, whose presence made us feel safe, and whose compassion touched everyone who crossed his path.
You taught us that dignity matters, that helping others is a responsibility, and that love is best expressed through action. Your life continues to inspire not just our family, but countless people whose lives you changed quietly and selflessly.
your values, your warmth and your spirit live on in everything we do.
Miss you always, Papa.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. ❤️

From the little boy who once held my hand to the wonderful young man standing beside me today, watching you grow has been one of the greatest joys of my life. ❤️
This video holds so many memories your childhood laughter, your mischievous moments, your changing hairstyles, and all the little versions of you that still live so clearly in my heart.
Siddharth, you have always had a way of bringing warmth into our lives simply by being yourself. I am so proud of the person you have become kind, thoughtful, strong, and completely your own.
No matter where life takes you or how much you grow, a part of me will always be with you in my love and blessing
Happy birthday, my darling Siddharth. May life always give you as much happiness as you have given me.
Love you beyond words. Forever my son, forever my baby. ❤️

It is always encouraging to see years of dedicated work towards a meaningful cause being recognised. At the Nargis Dutt Foundation, our efforts towards cancer awareness and care have always been driven by the desire to make a difference in the lives of those affected. It was an honour to receive this award from Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar ji, herself a woman of substance and distinction. This journey has taught us the importance of compassion, collective effort and standing by people when they need support the most. We move forward with gratitude and a renewed commitment to the cause.

19 years ago, a little boy was born to Priya and Owen, and we named him Sumair “Mountain of Gold.” ❤️
Today, 19 years later, he has grown as strong as a mountain, with a heart of pure gold. That is my Sumair my son, my confidant, and my best friend.
Through these years, I’ve watched the funny faces, heard that sweet little voice turn into a deep gruff one, seen those baby cheeks become a chiseled jawline, and survived all the questionable hairstyles and passing fads! 😂
But no matter how tall you grow or how old you get, to me you will always be my baby whether you like it or not.
Thank you for being the one who can bring a smile to my face even when everything around me seems lost. You have a way of making my heart lighter just by being you.
Happy 19th birthday, my darling Sumair. ❤️
May you always remain the beautiful, kind-hearted person you are.
Love you more than words can ever say.
Forever my baby. Forever my Mountain of Gold. ❤️

Bappa came home and, as always, filled every little corner with warmth, joy and peace. Even our furry babies stayed close through every prayer and every moment, making the celebration even more special.
Today, we bid Bappa farewell at home with grateful hearts, carrying His blessings with us until we welcome Him again.
Ganpati Bappa Morya, pudhchya varshi lavkar ya 🙏❤️

Welcoming Ganpati Bappa home is one of the most special moments of the year for me. Every year, His arrival fills our home with a sense of peace, faith and positivity that is difficult to put into words.
These days are always a reminder to pause, pray, be grateful for all that we have, and seek His blessings for the journey ahead. May Bappa remove every obstacle, bring strength in difficult times and fill every home with happiness, good health and togetherness.
Ganpati Bappa Morya 🙏

Sometimes we become so used to seeing garbage in our rivers, lakes and public spaces that we stop believing anything can really change.
Then someone like 20-year-old Bittu comes along.
He didn’t wait for the perfect resources or for someone else to take responsibility. He simply started cleaning the Ajnar River in his hometown and kept going, even when he was eventually doing much of the work alone.
Months later, the transformation is there for everyone to see.
Bittu’s story is inspiring, but it should also make us think. Keeping our surroundings clean cannot always be someone else’s job. These rivers belong to all of us, and protecting them has to become a shared responsibility.
One person decided to start. Imagine what could happen if thousands decided to join. 🌱

Nepal is going through one of its most difficult moments.
What was meant to be a journey of faith for many Indian pilgrims has been overshadowed by tragedy, while local communities continue to bear the immense weight of this disaster.
Standing in solidarity with the people of Nepal and every family affected. Wishing safety for those still stranded, strength for the rescue teams, and hope for everyone rebuilding their lives.

From childhood memories to all that life has brought our way, some things never change. The love, the laughter, the arguments, the endless stories, the unspoken understanding… and the comfort of knowing that no matter where life takes us, we will always have each other.
We have grown up together, watched life change around us, celebrated some of its most beautiful moments and stood beside each other through the difficult ones too. And somewhere through all those years, this bond has remained one of the few constants I can always come back to.
Happy Raksha Bandhan, Bhaiya. Here’s to all the memories we have made, all the years we have walked through together, Always grateful to have you as my brother. ❤️

We often think of family as the ones waiting for us inside our homes. But sometimes, family is also the one waiting quietly outside.
The one who recognises our footsteps. Who finds comfort in the same corner every day. Who doesn’t ask for much just a little water, some food, a safe place to rest, and perhaps a little kindness.
They may call the streets their home, but those streets are ours too. And how we choose to share them says a lot about us.
This International Dog Day, let’s remember that there’s always room for one more act of kindness. Because not everyone in the family lives under the same roof. 🤍🐾

Save Neville D’Souza Ground. Save Bandra’s Open Spaces.
Neville D’Souza Ground is one of the precious few open spaces left in Bandra a ground where thousands of children and youngsters have played, trained and competed
Like thousands of parents, I have my own memories here. My boys played football on this very ground.
And now, the BMC wants to develop this space into a convention centre.
Do we really need to sacrifice one of Bandra’s last open grounds for another concrete structure, when we already have major convention facilities just a few kilometres away in BKC?
Mumbai needs more open spaces, not fewer. Our children need grounds to play on. Our young people need spaces for sport, our citizens and seniors need open spaces
Thankfully, the Court has granted a stay until the next hearing. But this is the time for us to make our voices heard.
Parents, youngsters, sportspersons and senior citizen who care about our open dpaces please stand together.
Sign the petition (link in story)Share it widely. Ask your friends and neighbours to sign.
Once an open ground is lost to concrete, we may never get it back.
