ODDA 31 “An Emotional Turmoil” is a journey between what you love, what you fear, pain, excitement, choices and evolution always looking forward onto what’s next. Back in 2016 @joancollinsdbe was the very first Legend of the Golden era of Hollywood to accept to be featured in ODDA. Since then, issue after issue we’ve wanted to celebrate those individuals who’ve changed culture with their incredible skills. For cover 1/10 of the new issue we meet Actress @susansarandon, a free mind with big empathy and a career could be the dream to many wearing @marlastar, @ferragamo and @chanelofficial Fine Jewelry. Susan Sarandon started her career in the 70s and the drama JOE as her debut. The Rocky Horror Picture Show or Thelma and Louise defined her, not just incredible talent, but a position into the star system for over 40 years. Today she just presented in the Venice Film Festival her new project, ‘The Echo Chamber’ alongside director Andrea Pallaoro while preparing multitude projects alongside Olivia Colman or Kit Harington. For ODDA 31, iconic and legendary actress @reallymarcia sits down with Mr Sarandon to go thru their friendship, the current state of the world, their projects and how both see the future to come. “I think I have a huge capacity for empathy, and we use empathy in this business. You’re always imagining yourself in someone else’s shoes, finding you can feel and do things you never thought yourself capable of. You learn so much about yourself. It’s such a cool business if you can survive in it.” - Susan Sarandon. In order to connect with the culture and our audience from a broader perspective, with open arms, we launched a Billboard on Sunset Boulevard to celebrate freedom of speech, to encourage speaking up for your rights, to feel free, and to give a voice to the many people out there who need to feel supported—to let them know we have their backs. This Billboard image has been created as a prelude to the release of ODDA 28, opening in Paris on March 5th before touching down globally. In the photo, @rubuenooo is wearing a women’s wear look by @alexandermcqueen S/S 2025. In celebration of embracing diversity and self-comfort, regardless of your sexual inclinations, we aim to support and open the eyes of those who need to see further, to a more inclusive world. Alongside this billboard, a limited poster available in exclusive POS will be announced at further notice. “You never completely have your rights, one person, until you all have your rights” – Marsha P. Visit now the link in bio #ODDA31AnEmotionalTurmoil 28 Oct 2026 Today, ahead of tomorrow’s @lacma Art+Film Gala, ODDA takes another step in its journey showcasing, in our way, “lifestyle” through culture and fashion. Following the release of ODDA 31 “An Emotional Turmoil” early October during Paris Fashion Week we provide with this billboard a different meaning to an action, vulnerability through the “glass” of exploration, self-conscious decisions and somehow allowing parody to give you freedom of interpretation. The billboard is located at the intersection of Wilshire Blvd and Fairfax Ave featuring model @thatcherroyce photographed by @nicholaseliot. It is not new for ODDA to release a billboard in Los Angeles. Back in March 2025, clashing in time with the Oscars ceremony, we released on Sunset Boulevard a message of freedom and self-love celebrating who you are featuring male model Rubuen Bilan-Carroll @rubuenooo. Today’s billboard featuring Mount Rushmore, a symbol of many meanings, serves as a prelude to ‘An Emotional Turmoil’—an issue that dives deep into the complexity of human emotions and decisions, inner conflicts, and the powerful relationship between vulnerability and self-expression while exploring passions, fears, love, hate and uncertainty. With this glimpse of ODDA Issue 31, we open the door to a continuative visual storytelling across culture, our community, clients and the freedom of speech, giving visibility to so much to say for many, in a different way. From Monday November 9th you can find a limited Poster edition (60x90cm) of this billboard image available at Skylight books Los Angeles. Creative Director @davidmartingss Fashion Editor @jhpwrth Casting by @odda360 #ODDA31AnEmotionalTurmoil 06 Nov 2026 Congratulations to @martine_rose who has been named the new Creative Director for @balenciaga. Back in 2020 we visited Martine at her studio in London for ODDA 19. “Primarily my inspiration comes from people, but it can come from everywhere and anywhere, from walking down Finsbury Park, sitting on a bus, or listening to music; inspiration can be found in all sorts of different places.“ Editor in Chief @davidmartingss Photographer @suziehowell_ In conversation with @jessicamichault #ODDA19YouMeAndEveryoneWeKnow 05 Nov 2026 There’s a lot to be said for The Greatest Show on Dirt – otherwise known as the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo. For 42 years, the organisation has been bringing Black cowboys and cowgirls, music, history and culture together in arenas across the United States, creating a space where competition and community sit side by side. But the story of the BPIR is about far more than what happens once the gates open. Now, as the Black cowboy has found a new visibility in music, fashion and popular culture, the BPIR finds itself at a particularly interesting juncture: what happens when something you have been doing for decades suddenly becomes part of the zeitgeist? For Valeria Howard-Cunningham, it’s less a question of watching the moment unfold than being the one at the forefront shaping it. The BPIR has expanded beyond the arena, bringing together rodeo, music, fashion, education and community in an organization that feels increasingly reflective of the breadth of contemporary Black Western culture. There is the sport, of course—the competition, the cowboys and cowgirls, the prizes and the pursuit of a championship—but there is also the history, the storytelling and the question of who gets to define what the West looks like. “I’m evaluating succession planning and asking what the rodeo should look like for the next generation. After a long time, formats can become dated, so you need fresh approaches. Having led this for so long, I’m actively exploring how to pass the reins down and whether our operational model needs to evolve to match modern shifts.” In conversation with Maria Mukaranda Photography by @stefano_ortega The new issue is now available on newsstands, Amazon Kindle, the ODDA app and our e-shop. #ODDA31AnEmotionalTurmoil 05 Nov 2026 Forty years is an impressive amount of time, by any stretch of the imagination. It is long enough for a generation to be born, grow up and have children of its own. It’s long enough for a cultural movement to rise, change the way we dress, listen, speak and see ourselves and then become history. The world as it was four decades ago would be unrecognizable today. Still, some things endure. For over 40 years, the @BillPickettrodeo has brought Black cowboys and cowgirls together across the United States, giving them a place to compete, then a place to build and then a place to carry forward a history that has been relegated to the marginalia of the histories of the American West. Named after Bill Pickett, the celebrated Black cowboy and rodeo performer whose name is an inextricable part of the history of the American West, the BPIR was founded in 1984 by Lu Vason—who saw an absence in the professional rodeo circuit and decided to do something about it. Belonging is something that can be difficult to imagine in the absence of evidence. Their history is one of riders who have climbed into the saddle, waited behind the gate patiently, felt the nerves all the same and then—they have ridden. Consistency of such caliber is not to be mistaken for stagnation because as rodeo itself has evolved, so have its riders. The people coming through its gates today are doing more than competing in a sport with a long history behind it. Many of them now, as young as three years old, are negotiating with what that history means today. For our new issue “An Emotional Turmoil” we spend a day with them getting to know the riders and the energy of the Rodeo. PARIS WILBURD Age: 17 City: Cabot, Arkansas Events: Ladies Breakaway / Ladies Steer Undercorating / Barrel Racing Editor in Chief @davidmartingss Photographer @stefano_ortega Fashion Editor @jhpwrth Styled by @_fredkim #ODDA31AnEmotionalTurmoil 02 Nov 2026 Before oversized tailored coats, sculptural jackets, and the cosy, minimalist scarves and sweaters, there was denim. @acnestudios’s history started with 100 pairs of jeans in 1997, which became the perfect foundational myth for a brand that has known how to carve out a name for itself and adapt through generations. Its earliest five-pocket styles have been reinterpreted in many forms without losing their premise and concept: a garment that feels ordinary yet sophisticated, functional yet conceptual, familiar yet contemporary. Iggy Pop and members of Devo connected the young brand to the cultural conversation, with music as the medium, something that would become important to its identity. With Acne Studios, denim therefore became less a symbol of Americana and more a connection between fashion, music, and contemporary art. Acne’s approach to denim is not about reinventing jeans over and over again; it is about looking at the myriad possibilities that this versatile piece provides. The brand’s relationship with denim is grounded in simplicity, letting the garment speak for itself instead of relying on unnecessary decoration and elevating looks through silhouettes, creating a shape that can be worn repeatedly and become part of the personal history of the wearer. I was really more into makeup, and Kourtney was so mean to me. She would make me play this game with her she called Donna Karan: she was Donna Karan and I was her assistant, and she would just boss me around. I didn’t even know who Donna Karan was. One time, my grandma was really into fashion so she had all these magazines and she had this coffee table which had all magazines, so we would go visit her house in Palm Springs and she always wore little Ferragamo shoes and a Chanel jacket and she was so cute. And Kourtney would read these magazines and say: “Do you know this model’s name?” and I would say “No, I mean, I am ten years old” and she said: “Ok, I am going to teach you. This model’s name is Levi’s, this model’s name is Guess…” you know, names of jeans and then her friends would come over and she said “Aw, you guys, look, let’s go through this magazine” and then, in front of all her friends, she is like “Kim, do you know these models’ names?” “Yes, I do, this one’s name is Levi’s, this one is Guess…” And they all started laughing because that’s not their names and she was like: “Isn’t Kim so stupid, she thinks that the models’ names are the jean names” And I was “You told me that!” and she was: “No, I didn’t, you are so dumb.” I was traumatized by that. She was so mean to me, she always wanted to embarrass me.” Photographed by @sitabellan Fashion Editor @davidmartingss #ODDAmagazine 21 Oct 2026 Have you heard in the last few months about the viral video where a woman screams desperately the name of her parrot who flown away? If you did and you watched, yes you heard alright, the name of the parrot is Chanel and as parody to that viral video and in celebration of the @chanelofficial Cruise collection we photographed in our latest issue ODDA 31 “An Emotional Turmoil” we decided to tie concepts and make something out of it. Johnny the Parrot shares the protagonism with a structuted wicker bag with a burgundy leather interior and a CC clasp, from CHANEL’s Cruise 2026/27 collection. Creative by @odda360 Coordination @goatprincesse #ODDA31AnEmotionalTurmoil 20 Oct 2026 There is nothing more LA than @tinashenow and @lisarinna at the @victoriassecret show. Can we talk about Tinashe taking the world by storm? We love you! You deserve it! #ODDAdigital 18 Oct 2026 Hello Los Angeles, Hello @victoriassecret 2026 show! In the last couple of years we have seen the urge and need of taking back memories, events, artists, icons made a big impact in the 90s and early 2000s. Victoria’s Secret show was for a very long time a big celebration of femininity. A moment in time where life was mixed with dreams and still we could carry on with it. Now in 2026, we somehow, are catching up this same emotion and the perception here in backstage is special, different, feels like a restart for many. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is back. Her last show was in 2010. Names such as @ameliagray, @anokyai, @irinashayk, @heconghc, @mathilda.gvarliani are getting ready already for tonight… while names such as @alexconsani or @bellahadid, two big pillars for the fashion industry and the runways, will be also be part of tonight’s show. While the world keeps changing and so the needs of society, we should never stop dreaming neither having fun. Photos by @nicholaseliot @kcdworldwide 18 Oct 2026
