When your nervous system is constantly under pressure, even the smallest things can feel like a BIG deal. 😂 You get irritated more easily, have less patience, struggle to switch off, and sometimes find yourself reacting to things that normally wouldn't bother you. Sound familiar? Your nervous system plays a huge role in how your body responds to stress. The vagus nerve is a major part of the parasympathetic nervous system, involved in regulating functions associated with relaxation, recovery, heart rate and digestion. One of the best ways of supporting this system is through Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS). I've been using @Nurosym for over a year now. It delivers gentle electrical stimulation through the tragus of your left ear, targeting the auricular branch of the vagus nerve. Research into non-invasive vagus nerve stimulation is growing, with studies exploring its potential effects on autonomic function, stress, mood, and more. Nurosym is a medical device with over 60 clinical studies. For me, Nurosym has become one of my favourite tools for supporting my nervous system. I've genuinely noticed a difference in how calm I feel and how I handle stressful situations. People around me notice it too. It took only days to start noticing a difference. But individual results may vary. And if you've been thinking about trying it, NOW is a particularly good time. 🤍 You can get 20% OFF Nurosym using my affiliate link in bio until 15 November. Your nervous system deserves some attention too. 😉 And if for any reason you don't notice any meaningful difference, they offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. #Nurosym #VagusNerve #VagusNerveStimulation #NervousSystemRegulation #StressManagement 04 Nov 2026 We’ve got some exciting news: Nurosym has been named Health Tech Innovation of the Year at the Health Tech World Awards 2026! Behind this award are years of research, collaboration and a shared goal: helping people through science and making evidence-based vagus nerve stimulation more accessible. To our team, the researchers and healthcare professionals we work with, and everyone in the Nurosym community: thank you for being part of this journey. We’re proud of this moment, and excited to keep building on it. #Nurosym #HealthTechWorldAwards #HealthTech #VagusNerveStimulation #HealthcareInnovation 02 Nov 2026 #ad Save €140 on @nurosym ⚡️ 02 Nov 2026 Preparation for Everest is not only about climbing. There is the training, but also the planning, logistics, travel and constant decision-making that comes with an expedition like this. I’ve learned that if I want to perform well, I also need to take recovery seriously. That is where @nurosym comes into my routine. It uses gentle electrical impulses near the ear to stimulate the vagus nerve, which plays an important role in communication between the brain and body and in regulating stress and relaxation. The technology has been investigated in more than 60 clinical studies looking at areas including recovery, relaxation and nervous system regulation. For me, it means taking a few quiet minutes to slow things down, reset and bring my focus back to whatever comes next. Small habits, repeated consistently, become part of the bigger preparation. If you want to try Nurosym yourself, the link in my bio gives you an additional 5% off the current 10% discount, bringing the total saving to 14.5%. Every purchase through my link also helps support my winter Everest project. ⌛️ 56 days until the next push on Everest. That's not a stat, that's your vagus nerve losing the argument with your sympathetic system. Low HRV = less beat-to-beat variability = your parasympathetic "brake" isn't engaging fast enough, whatever your mood says. Your watch can measure that. It can't touch the nerve causing it. Nurosym does - direct auricular vagus nerve stimulation, from your ear, in the time it took you to read this. Stop reading the number. Go change it. 21 Oct 2026 #ad Comment RECOVERY and I’ll send you more info about @nurosym 👇 Training for the Olympics is only part of the work. Nutrition, sleep and learning to properly switch off are just as important. That last one is probably the hardest for my overthinking brain 😅 Nurosym has become part of my daily wind-down routine. After COVID, I felt like I got stuck in a constant state of fight or flight. I was easily agitated, constantly on edge, and ready to fight over practically anything. Someone could look at me the wrong way or say something completely innocent, without any bad intentions, and it could trigger a disproportionately strong response from me. 🤬 I was always ready for a battle. 🤷‍♀️😂 I became the snappiest, the worst version of myself, and I didn't feel like the person I used to be (kind, caring, and always ready to help). Physically, I was struggling, too. I started avoiding car trips, plane journeys, and anything that felt too stressful because I already felt completely overwhelmed by stress. Even sitting in a car as a passenger could cause cramps in my stomach. Looking back, I now understand that I was experiencing post-viral nervous system dysregulation. My nervous system was stuck in survival mode, reacting to situations as if they were threats, even when they weren't. And honestly? It was exhausting. But today, I'm experiencing a completely different reality. ❤️ I've managed to restore my health and regain what I'd describe as a monk-like mental state: a deep sense of calm, greater emotional resilience, and the ability to stop taking everything personally. I no longer suffer during car journeys. I ride my motorbike daily without any issues 🏍️. I've even started doing more extreme hikes. Previously, I'd be practically crawling through the more dangerous sections of a hike, stressing out and complaining. 😂 Now, I complete my dangerous hikes with ease, complete calmness. And perhaps the biggest change? People can try REALLY hard to get on my nerves, and I still don't get offended. 😂 I know myself. I know my worth. And someone else's opinion of me, when they don't even know me, doesn't define who I am. They say truth hurts. When someone says absolute rubbish, made-up stuff about you, you should only laugh.🤷‍♀️😂 I've learned to stop getting triggered by everything. And one of the biggest parts of my recovery has been using @Nurosym VNS. ⬇️ Continue Reading: 13 Oct 2026 For World Mental Health Day we want you just give yourself a chance to pause. We hope that whenever you step outside into the fresh air, sit in silence, share laughter with someone you love, or simply allow yourself to be, you experience a moment that brings you back to yourself. If you need a pause, that’s okay - your mind needs care too. Team Nurosym 10 Oct 2026 Your nervous system responds to signals happening throughout your body, often before you’re aware of them. Swipe to learn how it works. 05 Oct 2026 A simple way to start: clip it onto the tragus of your left ear, set the intensity to the lowest level, and build up slowly over the first week until you feel a light tingling rather than nothing. Aim for 15-30 minutes once a day at a consistent time - many people tie it to an existing routine, like morning coffee or an evening wind-down, so it's easier to stick with. There's no need to rush to the highest intensity or longest session right away; consistency matters more than duration at the start. 29 Sep 2026 The mechanism is autonomic, not sedative - it's designed to shift your nervous system out of fight-or-flight so your body can reach deeper sleep stages on its own. In a 4-week clinical trial, Nurosym reduced sleep disruption scores (PSQI) by 31% compared to placebo. Severe insomnia usually has more than one driver, so it's worth using consistently for a few weeks alongside your existing sleep routine rather than as a standalone fix. 28 Sep 2026 If you struggle with mysterious health issues, that don't seem to respond to usual stuff, nervous system dysregulation might be the reason why. I used to think these were completely separate problems: Dizziness Palpitations Poor sleep Brain fog Anxiety / feeling on edge Digestive issues Feeling overwhelmed But the more I learned about the autonomic nervous system, just how important it is, the more I realised how interconnected the brain and body really are. The autonomic nervous system helps regulate things that happen automatically - including heart rate, digestion, breathing and the body's response to stress. And when autonomic function is disrupted, symptoms can potentially show up across multiple systems. Of course, these symptoms have MANY possible causes and shouldn’t automatically be blamed on “nervous-system dysregulation”. But when several of them appear together, especially after a viral infection, I think it’s worth looking at the bigger picture rather than treating every symptom as completely unrelated. This is exactly what happened to me after COVID. I experienced anxiety, dizziness, digestive problems, exercise intolerance, and a feeling that my body was constantly in “high alert” mode. Like, for no reason 🤷‍♀️. Totally unjustified. My food sensitivity/intolerance test results? I was reacting to most foods 😯. I didn't react to these before. That’s when I started working on my nervous-system regulation using @Nurosym a non-invasive vagus nerve stimulation device that delivers controlled electrical stimulation to the auricular branch of the vagus nerve. There are more devices that have way less scientific evidence, and where some of them stimulate both sides, which can produce more unintended side effects. I decided to go with the most reputable/safest device and see if it could help me. I’ve been using it consistently for over a year and it’s become something I genuinely find to be helpful. The results were noticeable after a few sessions, so I knew that I'm doing the right thing for my body. I started with level 5 out of 45! Most people feel from 20+.
