I’ve been seeing several of my friends celebrating the anniversaries of when they left their jobs to pursue new passions. It’s amazing to see all of the success stories and I couldn’t be more proud of them. I also feel blessed that God has led me down this path I’ve been on for the past 9 years with photography. It’s been a lot of hard work with plenty of life lessons learned, but the ups heavily outweigh the downs. I truly love what I do and the people that have come into my life because of it. . How many of you are now doing something completely different then what you went to school for? What passion did you end up pursuing? . I’m going to end this post with a quote I know I’ve shared multiple times on here, but it’s the start of a new year and reading this always inspires me. . “For what it’s worth: it’s never too late… to be whoever you want to be. I love creating with whatever I have on hand. Most of my portraits happen in my home or a simple Airbnb, working mostly with natural light and the thrifted projectors I’ve collected.
