Some moments deserve to be celebrated, and this was certainly one of them. ❤️ On October 22, our founders, Stephanie Tavares-Rance and Floyd Rance, were honored as the 2026 TV & Film Honorees at the @foundationbaa HONORS 2026: Come Dream With Us – A Masquerade Ball. For 24 years, Stephanie and Floyd have poured their hearts into building the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival into more than a place to watch films. They’ve created a community, opened doors, amplified voices, and made room for stories that deserve to be seen and heard. To see them celebrated for the very work they’ve dedicated so much of their lives to means so much to our MVAAFF family. Congratulations, Stephanie and Floyd. We are so proud, and we couldn’t be happier to see you receive your flowers. Here’s to the legacy you’ve built and all that’s still to come!
