No matter what we do for them… it’ll never be enough… but it’s always better to do something… however little it may be ✨ During my visit to the Repatriation Centre, I had the opportunity to meet families and their children. I listened to their stories as they prepared for their journey home. Where adults were worried about their future, children were sad to leave their schools and friends behind. September wrapped up right.. 💙 @unhcrpakistan Visiting the @refugees at Azakhel VRC Nowshera was equally heart warming & heart breaking… these beautiful kids have so many dreams & even though they have very little yet they have so much to give… kindness.. humour… love… ( look at the little one, he clung on to my knee as soon as I got there ) There’s no right and wrong when the question is one of humanity, I hope we can all find in our hearts and in our homes space for all the people in need especially those who don’t belong anywhere anymore & are most vulnerable. May Allah keep all the kids of the world safe InshaAllah UNHCR day 💙 My sweet sweet girl, her naughty brother & her wonderful mother… we spoke at length.. in Urdu & in Pashto.. an experience I’ll carry with me forever. A reminder that you don’t need a lot to be happy. Babies 💙 Uzmah.. @uzmahsaad the one who reached out to me somewhere last year… so grateful to be a small part of the big movement you stand for..
