Consider this your reminder that pretty furniture can have a job too! Like hiding all your cozy winter quilts [& lots of toys, books, chargers, games, & more…] this cozy cottage ottoman is so good & on a major deal right now too so I had to share it! Comment SHOP to get the link sent right to you my friend 🫶🏼 Who is me that furniture can do more than look pretty?! Let’s put them to work! Comment shop for my sweater, ottoman, and more ❤️ https://liketk.it/6rOJ6 05 Nov 2026 Welcome my cozy loving friend! Happy to have you here. These are all scenes from last Christmas, but I’m gearing up to share a lot more cozy cottage farmhouse Christmas decor this season so perfect timing!!!!! 🎄 02 Nov 2026 Cozy cottage kitchen loading… 🐶 What do you think of this new charming paint color?! In some light it’s blue, in some light it’s green, & in some light it’s blue-green, but in all light it’s COZY! Can’t wait to add some paint details to the floor, load furniture back in, add window treatments, & so much more… but either way, I would save & share this post so you can save this color for later! 😍🙌🏼 What do you think?! comment SHOP to get this color sent to your DM’s! Xx https://liketk.it/6qVA1 26 Oct 2026 A cozy cottage home is a home that’s lived in… muddy boots, paint projects, toys scattered across the floor, and apparently chickens running through the entryway too. I’ve always believed that cozy isn’t about having a perfectly styled home. It’s about creating a warm, welcoming space where real life happens, and every little corner tells a story. We recently added one of the new washable rugs from @tumblerugs Cottage Countryside Collection to our farmhouse entryway, and it feels like it was made for our cozy, collected cottage style. The vintage-inspired pattern, charming countryside feel, and timeless cottage aesthetic fit right into our 1800s farmhouse. A short list of why we love Tumble rugs: Machine washable, spill-proof & easy to clean, kid & pet friendly, vintage inspired cottage designs, non-slip cushioned rug pad, perfect for high-traffic spaces, OEKO-TEX certified, no curling corners, made for everyday living… just to name a few! From DIY projects and muddy farm boots to everyday family moments (and the occasional chicken passing through), this little entryway sees it all. I love finding beautiful, practical pieces that let us actually LIVE in our home without worrying about every little mess. Because a cozy cottage isn’t about perfection. It’s about making room for the beautiful, messy, everyday moments that make a house a home. Comment COZY for the link to this washable rug & my other favorites from the new collection! #CozyCottage #CottageStyle #EnglishCottageStyle #WashableRugs #TumbleRugs 23 Oct 2026 I wanted to share a creative project post today & instead I thought I should share some things I’ve been up to around our house while offline…. Oops 🫣 A tree is up & although I usually wait for Halloween to put the decor out, I couldn’t wait any longer! Can we bring back sharing more of the cozy little moments around our homes? Because I miss it so much. The cozy corners, the little projects, the vintage finds, and all the things that make a house feel like home. I’ve been wanting to get back into the habit of sharing more of that here, because it really is one of my favorite things. Back in 2009, I started sharing my creative adventures online in hopes of finding a community of people who loved the same things I did, and honestly, that hasn’t changed one bit. I still love sharing our cozy with others who have a passion for all things home, DIY, vintage finds, and creating spaces that feel like them. When I’m not sharing, I truly feel like a little piece of my creative heart is missing. And while I would still be doing all the cozy, whimsical things around our 1800s farmhouse even if I couldn’t share a single bit of it here, there’s something so special about getting to share it with people who just get it. Because at the end of the day, this is what cozy looks like to me. Creating, collecting, rearranging, dreaming up new ideas, and making our house feel more and more like home. And I’m so thankful I get to share a little piece of that with you. 🤍 ps. What do you think of my question on the last slide? Yes? No? Let me know… Comment shop for the boys @northernclassics coats & more I could source here 🫶🏼 https://liketk.it/6qr1Y I wanted to share a creative project post today & instead I thought I should share some things I’ve been up to around our house while offline…. I’ve been wanting to get back into the habit of sharing more of that 20 Oct 2026 What if the paint color you’re afraid to try is the one that makes your house finally feel like home? Our front living room isn’t quite done yet, but I had to share how this color was coming along. Benjamin Moore Gilded Ballroom is a new favorite on my cozy paint color roster & I am so glad we tried it up here! I hope that by us sharing paint colors and trying them in our home, it inspires you to try the color that’s been on your mind & most of all, to not be afraid to try it! What do you think of the room so far?! Maybe I should peel the rest of the tape, add a rug, bring in some window treatments, & cozy it up some more… but so far the color has brought so much joy & so much COZY! Be sure to save & share the color for later!! 🫶🏼 Comment SHOP on this post to get the paint color, cozy fit, and more sent to your DM’s!! https://liketk.it/6pL15 12 Oct 2026 Monday musings from the farm… We will be back up here in the front living room working this week! Next up: painting the floors 🙌🏼 Celebrated 19 years of marriage this weekend. It feels like we have lived so many lives together, but one of my favorite chapters was being young & in love living in the south without a care in the world. Glad we have photos & memories to reminisce on. But my favorite chapter so far is captured here today. Two boys in pajamas at our feet after a messy dinner at the table & a day of work meetings and forgetting to take a photo together. This chapter is a beautiful mess like our overgrown garden here, but I want to stay here with you [& them] forever 🍂 Some of my favorite fall foliage 🌻 Anyone else? 🌻 Fall moment in the kitchen before our chaotic dinner tonight. A random amazing Christmas Walmart find that’s only $17!! Had to share. You can comment SHOP for this and more of mg recent Christmas finds. 🎅🏻🙌🏼 https://liketk.it/6onNN Spent some time antiquing this weekend… The haul 🫶🏼 A massive bowl I found! She’s huge! We will also be back here in the sunroom working, but moving this drawer piece here might have been the best decision ever. I have some amazing ideas for the drawers & what to store here! Can’t wait to share! For now the piece just has some happy treasures on her. Told ya… happy 🫶🏼 On this Monday I just want to say thank you for being here 🫶🏼 you could be so many places, but you stopping by our little [messy] farm daily to see our cozy random updates means the world to us as we love sharing here daily with you. Thank you for stopping by, for saying hi, for sharing your cozy with us, & just for being a light in our day. I hope we can be a light for you as well! Happy new week my friend! I hope it’s a good one for you [& me]! 🫶🏼🐑🌻 28 Sep 2026 Confession: I’ve always hated this corner of our sunroom. There was a door here when we moved in so I kept the door here, but it’s really unnecessary. It’s a waste of wall space & hinders giving this side of the room more of a purpose. Until today. This was a piece I got many years ago from one of my favorite small shops, @anythingrustic, & we used it at the shop for a few years for display and styling, but this week we brought her home again & I’m so thankful @jemandjayinteriors asked me if it would fit here on this wall because I never would have thought it would in a million years until I took the tape measure out & actually found out it would fit like a glove! I hope this encourages you to wait for the perfect piece for the corners of your home, but also gives you hope that maybe there aren’t ugly corners in your home, they are busting waiting for the right piece!!!! I can’t wait to play more with this space, but I was so excited to share it with you!!! Now, what should we put in all these drawers? I have a few ideas! Comment shop for my cozy fit & those cozy lampshades & more. 🫶🏼🤎🍂 25 Sep 2026 New [very old] mantel who dis? 🫶🏼👏🏼🍂 I just had to see how this antique beauty would look in this room now that the walls are this gorgeous historic ochre & I’m so thankful I tried it!! She’s back baby! She finally has a mantel to decorate again even though the rest of the room is a wreck…. Just focus on this beauty! What do you think?!? Ps. Want to see more cozy cottage farmhouse fall decor?! Let me know below!!! Be sure to save & share for later inspo! 22 Sep 2026 Well, my nickname is “late liz” so you are in good company… KIDDING! Kind of. That is my nickname, but you are not late… yet. & this is just me not wanting you to be like I usually am, late to the game. I’m not one to share Christmas in my feed at the beginning of fall, but last year the amount of angry dm’s I got during the holiday season when you guys messaged how I achieved the cozy glow on our Christmas tree & I had to say “The magical lights sold out in October!” That scarred me & I vowed to share them earlier this year to help others achieve this insane cozy cottage Christmas tree glow that I did here. It’s not for everyone, but if you don’t mind wrapping your tree branches with strands of lights while you watch your favorite holiday movie, these are for you!!! This 7.5 foot tree took around 10 strands to do this many, but it didn’t need that many for sure… I had added some to our collection each year & will be grabbing a few more strands this year too as is tradition so I can keep the cozy glow going around the house. These are the  52 foot 800 LED in warm white & that’s the key, warm white in this fair style cluster strand. ✨You can comment SHOP to be sent to this gorgeous antique farmhouse style Christmas tree & cozy cottage lights.✨ https://liketk.it/6nYow 21 Sep 2026 Yellow, but make it a cozy cottage farmhouse paint color that looks 100 years old. I found the ochre paint color I had been dreaming of trying & it’s called gilded ballroom by Benjamin Moore & it replicates antique brass with ochre undertones. An aged, earthy golden ochre that feels historic rather than yellow. It’s warm, moody, and almost candlelit. I can’t wait to see the room coated in this gorgeous color, but couldn’t wait to share it with you!! Did you pick this color?!? See the last post for all the colors we sampled to get this one. Save & share this post for later!!!! Who is excited to see this room in this color 😍 ps. Would you paint the trim in this color or just the walls?! Stay tuned to see what we chose… 16 Sep 2026 Welp, it hit 60 degrees yesterday & suddenly the walls were the wrong color 🙃🍂 anyone else like this?! Just me? Hopefully not! I wanted to warm up this front living room & I’ve had a list of gorgeous cozy cottage colors in my notes app I’ve been wanting to use so I went out & got a bunch of samples & threw them up. I had a favorite at the start of the day, but now I think I’m leaning towards another. Which one is your favorite?! Comment “Shop” & I will send you the list of gorgeous colors I love & sampled here. Also, vote below! I can’t wait to hear your favorite! For the cozy cottage paint color list comment Shop below: https://liketk.it/6nnWd 14 Sep 2026
