Itty bitty sweethearts committee 🧡 Please meet Quincy and Jam, 2 tiny little orphans that came into my care yesterday and are thankfully so far loving their milk and are doing well despite a very tough beginning to life. A very caring member of public heard his dog barking outside late on Thursday night and naturally went out to investigate and what he found was a mum cat who had, by the looks of things just given birth in a very tricky spot behind his shed. With his dog barking unsettling mama, she ran off leaving her babies behind 💔 it’s been extremely wet and cold here these past few days and the babies were covered in mud….. Travis did an amazing job of finding a heat pack, and placing the babies on a towel with warmth exactly were mama left them and keeping his dog inside waiting and hoping mum would return which she very sadly did not do. A trap has been set, with people in the area going to keep a look out with the hopes of finding mum, but with a large unsocialised cats presence in the area, the chances aren’t great but you never know and all we can do is try. Anyone would think I starve them 🤣 The siblings are united 🙌🏼 Floyd, Sid and Gilmore back together like they’ve never been apart 😻 they’re just protesting going into the playpen while foster mum goes to work - it’s a large safe space for them to play, eat and sleep and despite this morning’s protests they’re very happy hanging out in there together until I get home…. Road trip to a better life…… Introducing Gilmore 💙 Brother to Sid and Floyd, and just like his siblings, little Gilmore was found in a wall of a nursing home yesterday. I can’t even begin to imagine how scary that must be for this little guy!
