Merle Bergers, a child of the #forest, grew up with the whispering of leaves and the buzzing of insects. From an early age, she felt this deep #connectivity that surrounds all life. Studying at #Design Academy Eindhoven, her fascination with the silent #communication of the plant world only grew. Inspired by visionaries like Peter Wohlleben and Robin Wall Kimmerer, she then embarked on a #journey into the hidden scent messages of flora with her project @linguaplanta . Lingua Planta deciphers these secret #languages of nature, and translates them into an olfactory #symphony for modern #explorers. But @linguaplanta is more than just #perfume. It is a molecular dialogue- captured in precious bottles but maintaining the echo of the #forest. The finest essences are selected with meticulous care, handpicked from the apothecaries of #nature. Lingua Planta’s elixirs are then created via traditional handiwork in the Netherlands, a nation that places equal value on #craftsmanship and the love of nature. The values of #sustainability permeate every product, as @linguaplanta believes firmly in the stewardship of the earth from which these precious scents derive. We’re so proud to present Paul’s collaboration with Einstoffen! * * * Paul Wijkmeijer is a flower artist known to many. Proud owner of his flower boutique ‘Klavertje vijf’ located in the center of Haarlem. Paul is one of a kind just like his art pieces, from weddings to festivals, museums and art collections nothing is too crazy for him, “bring on the crazy and leave out the boring!” he would say “I don’t sell flowers I sell stories” if you’re looking for an ordinary bouquet you’ve come to the wrong address, Paul will immediately ask you about the reasoning and what story you want to tell with the flowers. He works with seasonal produce only and as locally grown as possible, the dream is to only sell flowers from his own garden, but having a garden first would be convenient.
