From packing meals and Operation Christmas Child boxes to supporting our Global Team in Japan, there are so many ways to share the hope of Jesus near and far. We’ll also have opportunities to grow in our relationships, gather in prayer, and celebrate families through Child Dedications.
Let’s enter November with thankful hearts and open hands, ready to bless others and simply respond to Jesus wherever He leads us!

It’s easy to feel like the world is constantly changing, but one thing has never changed and never will: Jesus is the only way. As Pastor Amira reminded us on Sunday, He isn’t one of many paths to God. He is the way, the truth, and the life.
No matter what the world says, we can stand confidently in this truth. Jesus is the only One who can restore us to the Father, and He alone is the Savior of the world. What a gift it is to know Him and share that hope with others!

We don’t have to strive for a love God has already given us.
Pastor Amira continued our Love Amplified series in 1 John 4:12-19, reminding us that we love because He first loved us. We don’t have to rush, prove ourselves, or anxiously wonder where we stand with Him. Through Jesus, we’re invited to settle into His love and let it take root. As we took communion together today, we remembered His sacrifice, the beautiful reminder that His love isn’t something we have to earn. Our prayer is that we would carry that confidence into this week: we are deeply loved, and we have His love to share.
We saw that love shared in so many ways at yesterday’s Harvest Jam. What a joy to welcome families, see so many smiling faces, and spend time together at Crossroads. We’re grateful for everyone who helped make it such a special day for our community.
That same generous heart is reaching far beyond our church through Operation Christmas Child! Family of Faith, thank you for the hundreds of boxes you’ve filled and prayed over. Each one is an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with a child. We’re working toward our goal of 1,000 boxes! Sunday, November 8, is the final day to bring your filled shoeboxes to church, or you can drop them off during the week at the Admin Building during office hours. Let’s keep praying for the children who will receive them and simply responding to Jesus wherever He gives us someone to love!

🍬 WHAT AN AMAZING DAY AT HARVEST JAM! 🧡
From the costumes and candy to all the smiles and laughter, we had the BEST time welcoming our community for an afternoon of fall fun! A big thank-you to everyone who came out and to our incredible volunteers who helped make it all happen. We loved every minute!
And the fun doesn’t have to stop here! We’d love to have you join us tomorrow at Crossroads! 💙

We don’t have to navigate a confusing world without the wisdom and love of Jesus.
As we continued Love Amplified with “Love Conquers Error,” we opened 1 John 3:24-4:11 and talked about our need for discernment. Life is complicated, and the loudest voice isn’t always the one we should follow. But our God is greater than anything we’re facing. We can ask Him for wisdom, test what we hear, and let His love shape our response. My prayer for us is that we would keep growing in discernment, not just to recognize what’s true, but to simply respond to Jesus right where He has us.
That’s part of why I’m so thankful for our Fall On-Campus Groups, which wrapped up this past week. We need people around us who help us follow Jesus. Friendships were made, community was built, and faith grew. Most importantly, Jesus moved in people’s lives. Thank you to everyone who came, served, and made room for one another. It’s a beautiful thing to see our Family of Faith growing together and sharing His love.
And this week, we get to welcome our neighbors to Harvest Jam! Join us October 31 from 1-4 PM, bring the family, and invite someone to come with you. Thank you for all the candy you’ve donated. We’re still collecting, and you can order through the Amazon link at crossroadschurch.net/events.
Starting next Sunday, you can also bring your Operation Christmas Child boxes back to the Family Room. I’m grateful we get to share the love of Jesus with our community and our world together!
