Hitting convo w/ @et.hitting
04 Nov 2026
1 week swing progression
27 Oct 2026
Hitting groups are fun. The knowledge shared between athletes is what makes them great.
Talking through an approach, sharing what they feel in a swing, asking questions, and learning from each other’s reps. Sometimes hearing something from another hitter is what makes it click.
Add in competition, encouragement, and a few laughs, and you have an environment where guys push each other to get better.
Good swings. Good conversations. Growth together.

MY CAREER👇
0 College Offers ➡️ Gap Year ➡️ JUCO ➡️ D1
Yavapai College
2022: .293/.376/.507 | 3 HR | 7 2B
I came in with a below-average swing and approach. I was surrounded by elite competition that forced me to adapt.
2023: .364/.439/.639 | 55 RBI | 11 HR | 19 2B | 3 3B | First Team All-Region & All-Conference
I started learning what made a high-level swing, both mentally and mechanically. I ended up having the best offensive year in the conference.
University of Utah
2024: Medical Redshirt | Back Surgery
Instead of checking out, I spent my time around our staff with offensive signs, learning, and focused on being the best teammate I could be.
2025: .333 in limited ABs
Thumb surgery and a knee injury, both freak accidents. I eventually got back on the field, but I wasn’t the hitter I knew I could be.
Northern Kentucky University
2026: .318/.414/.547 | 12 2B | 9 HR | All-Conference
I struggled to start the year, but I believed in what we were building and threw myself into the work. The adjustments clicked.
What’s important to me?
Looking back, the numbers and accolades are cool, but they’re not what I value most from my college career. Baseball taught me many lessons, values, and intangibles.
Most importantly, it taught me that the best coach you will ever have is yourself. Coaches can give you information, teach you, challenge you, and point you in the right direction. I’ve been extremely fortunate to have some incredible coaches and teammates do that for me.
But at some point, you have to take ownership of your own career. You have to understand your mind, your body, and your swing. You have to know what makes you successful. You have to be willing to make adjustments. You have to show up when nobody is watching. And when things aren’t going your way, you have to be willing to look at yourself first.
That’s a huge reason why I’m starting this page. I want to share what I’ve learned from the coaches, teammates, failures, injuries, successes, and thousands of hours I’ve spent trying to get better. I’m healthy, still training, learning, and chasing whatever this game has left for me.
