I’ve had the privilege to be working with Avery since she was 16. I knew from the beginning she was so special. Her crazy talent mixed with being the most kind and genuine person is so hard to come by. Anyone who meets Avery is instantly drawn in. She has the ability to make people feel things not only through music but just by being present in a room. We’ve built this thing brick by brick over the last few years and I’m so happy to see all of the hard work pay off! I’m so honored to be a part of this amazing persons career! This new Avery record (forgive, forget.) was so much fun to create! From writing some of the songs to producing the record it all brought me so much happiness. Avery is such an insanely talented singer and writer (and all the things really) it makes my ”job” so easy. I feel we created something super special with this EP and I’m super proud of it!! Thanks to everyone who worked on this with us. The start of the next Parmalee chapter is here. We recorded this song in the basement like we would have when we were kids just having fun making music and trying to “make it”. It was a breath of fresh air to just work together like we used to before life got so busy. This song was def a personal one and I’m proud to have written this one with @parmaleematt @thecaseybrown and @parkerwellingnohe .. co-produced it with Casey as well. Avery is such a special artist and this is such a special record. We started this record with really no direction except we wanted to do something that touched people and made people feel like they weren’t alone. “Let Go Letters” is Avery’s brainchild that was so fun to bring to life. I’m so thankful she trusted me to produce this record and write some of the songs on it as well. I’ll never forget the beginning of this project. Me, Andy, Ben and Avery in a house reading through all of these letters fans had sent her. Some were so heart wrenching they were hard to read. I have to say I’m so proud of Avery for embracing these emotions and singing about things most people don’t want to sing about. I’m proud of you Avery. You’ve become such an incredible person and artist over the last few years and I just love working with you. This is just the beginning..I know you have so much more to say. Thank you to EVERYONE involved in the making of this record. To the Label, Writers, Musicians, Mixers, Editors, Engineers…just everyone behind the scenes helping us make this happen. Taking a little time today to stop and talk about how proud I am of this new @parmaleemusic record. I co-wrote and produced all 7 tracks (this is part 1 of a 2 part album) with some of my amazingly talented friends. To the artist, label, players, engineers, editors, creatives, writers, and everyone that is involved to make a record happen. I just want to say thank you!! Have 2 songs that dropped today (Feels Like Home and Mr. predictable) from both of my artists. I’ve been out on the road the last couple of weekends seeing these new songs react and it’s just so cool to see how the crowds already know them so well. Writing and producing both of these songs was such a fun process and I can’t thank everyone that was involved enough on their hard work…. Cowgirl is OUT NOW and the first single off the new parmalee album (coming soon) and I couldn’t be more excited! Thanks to the co-writers we wrote this one with for bringing in such a fun and catchy vibe. Songwriters are overlooked so much in this industry and it’s cool to see new writers coming in with great ideas and positive energy.
