I’m selling some pots!
It’s time I cleared out the sideboard so I can fill it up again, so I’m going to be selling my current crop at @bigbreakfastot on Saturday 14th from 10am-12noon at St Brides in Old Trafford. I’ll be giving 33% of the proceeds to the Big Breakfast. I have a mixture of Proper Good Ones and Loveable Weirdos*, and will price accordingly. It would be lovely to see you there. Anything I don’t sell, I’ll stick up in my stories.
*The loveable weirdos look nice but aren’t food safe, because I’ve repaired small cracks in their bases. The proper good ones should even survive the dishwasher (although they’ll probably last longer if you hand wash them). Everything is tough-guy stoneware.

A little extra treat for you before the next Big Breakfast. @stan_chow has very kindly donated a collection of print 2nds to us. We’ll be selling these at a special one off fundraiser for The St Brides Project, the refugee project that runs from St Brides Church.
Sat 7th November, 10am-12pm. St Brides Church, Old Trafford. Refreshments provided.
The project needs constant financial support, donations of warm men’s clothing, brand new underwear and socks and toiletries.

Hi, We’re back from our Summer break this Saturday 12th September and we’re looking forward to welcoming you all back to The Big Breakfast.

Don’t forget all money raised goes directly to the St Brides Project which helps refugees in the Greater Manchester area.

We’re taking our annual August holiday at the Big Breakfast this month so won’t be at St Brides tomorrow. If you’re around come to the fabulous @rummageintherange instead where we’ll have a stall raising money for the St Brides Project.

It’s the big breakfast this Saturday 11th July from 9-12pm at St Brides in Old Trafford.
We weren’t sure we’d have enough volunteers to run this month, but we’ve had a couple of fab helpers come to our rescue. The Big Breakfast is run entirely by volunteers so if we don’t have enough helpers we can’t run. If you ever fancy pitching in, please do. It helps immensely — even if just for an hour here and there.
All money raised goes to an amazing refugee project based at St Brides church that helps people all over Greater Manchester. They’re doing such valuable work, and our customers have contributed such a massive amount to the project over the past few years—it’s really wonderful!!

It’s the Big Breakfast this weekend AND also the jumble trail! These two Old Trafford institutions are falling on the same day and so we’re having a stall at the big breakfast on Saturday.
The stall will be selling fabric and hand made paper and a few clothes—some lovely Indian sandals & tunic tops, as well as dresses and tops and some Board games & Bric a Brac.
At the Big Breakfast we’ll have our usual veggie breakfasts, etc with gorgeous cakes from @silverapplesbakery and bread from the barbakan. All money raised goes to the St Brides refugee project.

How is it May already?
It’s the Big Breakfast this Saturday and we’ll be serving our veggie breakfasts, tea, coffee and cakes from the gorgeous @silverapplesbakery this weekend.

Also, we’ve been selling prints from Manchester artist @stan_chow recently. The prints have been contributing such a lot to our charity, The St Brides Project - a refugee project based in the church. We’d like to say a big thanks to Stan.
With Stan’s prints doing so well, and our regular stalls always being a success with our captive audience, we had a few ideas about collaborating with other local makers. If any Manchester makers would be interested to chat and help us raise some more money for the charity, please get in touch ❤️✨.

We raised an amazing amount for the St Brides project last month and we are incredibly grateful.

Happy New Year to all of our customers and volunteers!
It’s the first Big Breakfast of 2026 this Saturday.
Come and join us at st Brides in Old Trafford for Veggie breakfasts, teas and coffees, cakes and treats. We’ll be opening at 9am and wrapping up at 12pm.
We have delicious cakes from @silverapplesbakery again - lucky us 😋 - and bread from the Barbakan deli.
We are a pay-as-you-feel cafe, and all the money we raise goes to the St Brides Project, a wonderful refugee project that runs at St Brides Church.
