Brandi Carlile released a new “Sad Gay Version” of her album “Returning to Myself” and I had such a wonderful time getting to work on it! After engineering on the original album last year, it was so much fun to get to be part of the process when she came to Long Pond to reimagine some of these songs with Aaron. I feel totally honored to have gotten to mix “Anniversary” and “No One Knows Us” - I love these versions and feel like they’re so intimate and moving. I feel so lucky to have engineered and mixed a few songs on @sarabareilles new album Good Grief! When we were recording at Long Pond, I was floored by Sara’s voice on the high melody of Still Crying (perfect every time!) and both Wind is the Weather and Heartland made me feel so emotional. These songs are such a deeply moving reflection on grief, and @aarondessner produced them so subtly and beautifully. The whole album is special, with amazing work by @heyjonlow and incredible musicians. Hope you find it as beautiful and cathartic as I do ❤️ 06 Sep 2026

Happy release day to Daughter From Hell!!! We made this album over the past couple years between upstate, NYC, and London, and it has honestly been a transformative process and time. Working with @aarondessner and @gracieabrams has been one of the biggest privileges and joys of my career, and I can’t believe how much we have all grown and expanded together… I feel like this album really captures that feeling and growth. You’re both like family to me and I can’t imagine my life without you! Thank you infinitely for your collaboration, friendship, and trust ❤️ The day the title track came to life (seemingly pulled out of thin air) I had to run to the bathroom and cry, and I can’t even count how many times it’s made me tear up since. Gracie’s lyrics with Aaron’s guitar are just so moving, both specific and universal in capturing such a complexity of emotions! I love every single song on this album, and I really hope everyone gives them lots of time to reveal themselves. I’m grateful to so many friends I’ve gotten to work with on this - @boniver for lending your magic and always being so supportive of me @brycedessner @900x @lanzprojects @androidbarr you guys are amazing and elevate everything you touch @gillwiththeg couldn’t have gotten through all the details without you! @straightxnarrow @grantmanship for all the support always ❤️ So much love to everyone involved and everyone listening ❤️❤️❤️ 17 Jul 2026

Had an absolute blast working with ultra charming queen @sukiwaterhouse on some songs for her new album Loveland! We recorded “Seasons” and “Almost” at Long Pond, and the whole process was a total joy. “Little Wide Open” the new album by @kevinmorby is out today, and it’s honestly one of my favorite albums I’ve ever been a part of making. To me, this album feels beautiful, classic, and just extremely evocative. I loved Kevin’s music before, but I didn’t realize until working on this record just how deep his lyricism and poetic storytelling runs. Aaron always calls him our “Dust Bowl Narrator” and I love that description ❤️ We just had the best time bringing this album to life… keeping it simple and true to the songs! I love @aarondessner production on the whole thing (and epic guitar solo!) I’m super proud to have mixed a bunch of these songs, alongside some wonderful mixes from @heyjonlow I can (and do) just listen to the whole thing on repeat. I really can’t believe that “Hit the Wall” is out now!! I absolutely love this song, and it has been such an incredible journey getting to work on this music. @gracieabrams and @aarondessner it’s been the greatest privilege to be a part of this collaboration… I love you both and love how our time in the studio feels like a special protected, intimate, free space to explore. @lilyfittsmusic new single “Mess of Me” is out now! I had such a great time getting to produce and engineer this track 🩷 it was especially fun to have such a women powered team, which we didn’t exactly set out to do, but ended up being such a unique and joyful experience! @itscarriek and @gailanndorsey were a dream rhythm section, @kaufyismynamo sprinkled some magic on guitars, @yeahnotheo sang some special BGVs, and I played piano and synths. Mastered by the incredible badass @emilylazarlodge ! Thanks to my fave @blaizer for bringing me in on this and keeping it all on the rails! Hope you all enjoy xo ✨🩷 04 May 2026

So thrilled that @noahkahanmusic new album “The Great Divide” is finally out! Working on this album over the past year and a half has been a total privilege and pleasure. It was so special to be in the room as these songs appeared and came to life, and such a joy to capture them. Noah’s musicianship and lyricism blew me away throughout the process, and Aaron’s care and sensitivity really made it all shine. Hearing the very beginning of the album takes me right back to last August… holding my breath as Noah recorded that intro with the doors open and the bugs and frogs chirping around the pond. It was also so great to collaborate with and get to know @gabesimonsays and @itscarriek ! Many thanks to @aarondessner @straightxnarrow @grantmanship and @gillwiththeg for everything on this project. So excited that the new @mumfordandsons album “Prizefighter” is out today! It was such a wonderful journey to go from running into the band for the first time at electric lady in NYC, to engineering the record in studios in the UK, France, and upstate NY. There are so many special songs on here, and I’m grateful to have gotten to mix a few of my favorites.
