Visionary creative director @edlibbyevents , in partnership with @altair_decor, transformed the palace into a Sheesh Mahal vision with imagination and artistry, while Parisian master pastry chef @bastien_blanc_tailleur took center stage with a towering masterpiece of jaw-dropping beauty. The Art of the Room Reveal ✨📸 My top planner tips for a flawless room reveal — 1. Lighting matters! Bring the photographer in the room first to test lighting and adjust as needed. Nothing worse than bad lighting after all that hard work. 2. Talk to your venue staff and ensure that water glasses do not get filled until after room shots. Be sure to clear all venue staff and vendors out of the space and inform them it’s room reveal time. 🔊 3. Details! Double check that all chairs are even, place settings are perfect and candles are lit. These seem small but out of place items can ruin a detail shot, don’t get me started on crooked cutlery 😅 4. Ask the band or DJ to play the couple’s first dance song as they enter. This is the perfect time to practice the first dance and get the most amazing photos of them dancing in a clean space. 🎵 5. Invite the parents! Okay, this one might be controversial but, depending on the situation, the parents have invested so much into the day and it can be a very special moment for them as well. 🫶🏼 What do you think? I have officially been to Italy more times with @andrewtmclaughlin than with with my husband. Last fall we started together on early stages of an exciting project that turned into the project of a lifetime. For nearly a year, our similar styles of dreaming and then doing became lockstep and over the past 330 days we’ve spoken nearly every day - in the last few months pretty much all day, every day. 🤍 I’ve held his cute dog, he’s hugged my children. ⭐️ He is bright, clever, resourceful, creative and calm. He runs his business, @aragonartists with integrity and precision, there is no task too small for him, nor a dream too big - and he surrounds himself with a brilliant team. From the DYNAMITE Creative Director and one of my favorite humans @jacob_banks, to the production leads to the entire cast and crew of his team - every detail was considered, obsessed over and brought to life. Quickly, @daniele.tagliabue_ @matteoraffa_ and the @blunotteventi team folded in on the ground in Italy and became an extension of us. We asked the often impossible of them, spent a gazillion hours together on zooms and calls, pushing everyone to the absolute max. @matteoraffa_ , like Andrew, is sharp, thoughtful and steady. The two of them, and their teams, have been such an enormous part of my every day - and getting to the finish line of the event, which was a full-circle moment from when we started the dreaming phase - was something that I’ll carry with me forever. 🎇 So much of our businesses on IG are about showcasing the pretty: The destinations, the celebrations, the entertainment. Of all the things that I’ve ever posted here, this - the people who worked so hard on this incredible event - is truly the thing that I’m the most proud of. Partnerships in this industry are everything - and gosh we had the best for this wildly memorable adventure. 🤍 24 Aug 2026
