During the height of the dance floor, origami paper cranes, a nod to the bride’s childhood hobby, were quietly passed among guests inviting them to the Crane Club. What appeared to be the hard wall of our restroom tent suddenly opened to reveal a curved hallway leading to a subtly Chinois-inspired lounge. A giant illuminated moon, jade dance floor, DJ, late-night dumplings and noodles, 7/11 Slurpees (a nod to the wedding date), and a mountain peak ice luge awaited inside.
