Feels Live begins tonight 💜 21 Oct 2026 Weekend at Noah Lomax’s… We are so excited to see you next week for Feels Live and to be joined by some friends to open the shows @esl__books @more_eaze @wendyeyes @flaccmo @_ma_ral_ @soapy.t #zachcowie 16 Oct 2026 See you next week for Feels Live in NY & LA 💜 15 Oct 2026 Croz Boyce: Live on KCRW ∞ Croz Boyce rolled into KCRW on the late summer breeze, offering a cool relief after a string of stuffy heatwaves. In May, the newly formed trio consisting of Brian Weitz (Geologist) [@geobriensystem] and David Portner (Avey Tare) [@aaaveytttare] of Animal Collective [@anmlcollective], along with Adam McDaniel [@adam.mcdaniel.music] (frequent collaborator and audio engineer), released their self-titled LP full of ambient soundscapes and gentle folk expressions. Every tee + bucket hat is unique, ice dyed in the palette of the new album. Catch them now on tour across the US and grab one in person! Link in bio for tix 🎟️ 09 Sep 2026 When we celebrated the Feels 20th Anniversary edition last year, people often asked “why aren’t you performing it live?” It was a good question, and honestly, one we hadn’t asked ourselves. We were so used to our schedules not lining up that we didn’t consider it. But yeah…why didn’t we? The celebration felt incomplete to you all, and to us too. “We can relearn this album,” we said. “We can find old loops, tunings, pedals, and a working minidisc player to grab old sounds. Then maybe if a small window of time opens up…” Now it has, and we’re going to play the album in full (as well as some extras from the time) in NYC and LA this October. A 21st birthday party. We know only playing two shows in the two biggest cities in the states leaves a lot of you without an option to come out. We sincerely wish everyone who wants to see these shows could do so, and we’re sorry we can’t make that happen for you. As we said above, we only have a short window to get together right now. We’ll see how it goes and how the future shapes up down the road. For those who can come out, accept our deepest thanks, and we’ll see you down by the swimming pool. Link in bio to sign up for presale for the NY and LA dates. NY, LA presale starts on Thursday, September 10th at 10 AM Local 10.22 - Knockdown Center - New York @knockdowncenter 10.24 - Fonda Theatre - LA @fondatheatre 08 Sep 2026 Matthew Herbert’s work and sonics have inspired us for decades at this point. We used to play his remix collection on repeat during our 2002 US tour. Around the House, his work on the first Micachu and the Shapes album, and his recent collaboration with Momoko (Clay) have all been inspiring stops along the way. Thrilled to blend our jams into the Herbert musical tapestry. Take a listen and see you on tour starting next week - Croz Boyce (@aaaveytttare & @geobriensystem) 9/8 - AyurPrana Listening Room - Asheville, NC (w Sham) 9/9 - The Earl - Atlanta, GA (w Sham) 9/11 - Gasa Gasa - New Orleans, LA (w Sham) 9/12 - Central Presbyterian Church (Levitation) - Austin, TX (w/ Water Damage) 9/15 - Sid the Cat Auditorium - Pasadena, CA (w/ White Magic) 9/16 - 4 Star Theater - San Francisco, CA (w/ Jah Stade) 9/18 - Mission Theater - Portland, OR (w Patricia Wolf) 9/19 - Black Lodge - Seattle, WA (w Patricia Wolf) 9/22 - The Cedar Cultural Center - Minneapolis, MN (w Powers/Rolin Duo) 9/23 - Cactus Club - Milwaukee, WI (w Powers/Rolin Duo) 9/25 - Empty Bottle - Chicago, IL (w BCMC) 9/26 - Talk Low Festival - Cincinnati, OH 9/28 - Miracle Theatre - Washington D.C. 9/29 - Public Records - New York, NY (w Masaaki) 04 Sep 2026 Getting psyched for Croz Boyce to hit the road in a few weeks! One of the best parts of touring is sharing the stage with artists we love and hearing them every night along with you all. This time around we’ll be swimming together in the sounds of Sham, Water Damage, White Magic, Jas Stade, Patricia Wolf, Powers/Rolin Duo, BCMC, Mick Barr, and Masaaki. Check the schedule to see who when & where. And up there with us during our set will be long time friend/collaborator/member of extended family AD Brave @adam.mcdaniel.music to help bring the full sound. See you out there soon! 9/8 - AyurPrana Listening Room - Asheville, NC (w Sham) 9/9 - The Earl - Atlanta, GA (w Sham) 9/11 - Gasa Gasa - New Orleans, LA (w Sham) 9/12 - Central Presbyterian Church (Levitation) - Austin, TX (w Water Damage) 9/15 - Sid the Cat Auditorium - Pasadena, CA (w White Magic) 9/16 - 4 Star Theater - San Francisco, CA (w Jah Stade) 9/18 - Mission Theater - Portland, OR (w Patricia Wolf) 9/19 - Black Lodge - Seattle, WA (w Patricia Wolf) 9/22 - The Cedar Cultural Center - Minneapolis, MN (w Powers/Rolin Duo) 9/23 - Cactus Club - Milwaukee, WI (w Powers/Rolin Duo) 9/25 - Empty Bottle - Chicago, IL (w BCMC) 9/26 - Talk Low Festival - Cincinnati, OH 9/28 - Miracle Theatre - Washington D.C. Read the interview via the link in our bio. 🌈 🍃 ID: Quotes from a conversation with music duo Croz Boyce, aka Dave Portner (Avey Tare) and Brian Weitz (Geologist) of Animal Collective, that read... Slide 1: “Mystery is a discipline.” —Brian Weitz (Geologist) Slide 2: “Sometimes talking about it so much is detrimental to the music because it just puts things in people’s minds. Flexing the imagination has always been a big part of listening to music.” —Dave Portner (Avey Tare) Slide 3: “A lot of times you want to explain yourself to somebody because it comes out of insecurity. I’m just like, ‘Oh, I hope you like this. Maybe if I explain it more, you’ll like it more.’” —Brian Weitz (Geologist) Slide 4: “You could just keep tweaking something forever, changing it and changing it.” —Dave Portner (Avey Tare) Slide 5: “There were times in our life when we were students or we had other jobs where it was just making something because you just had that energy in you that you felt like you needed to get out. When you do that with another person, it’s reflective of and it feeds the friendship.” —Brian Weitz (Geologist) Slide 6: “[Calling it Animal Collective] was a plan that was more so imposed on us. Not that we were against it. It made complete sense to us, but it wasn’t part of our plan. Our plan was just to be this loose friend group.” —Dave Portner (Avey Tare) Slide 7: “I don’t feel there’s always an answer for what’s the best way to work.” —Brian Weitz (Geologist) Slide 8: “It’s just what we wanted from ourselves. To explore... it didn’t have to do with trying to fill what we thought was a need or a demand.”—Dave Portner (Avey Tare) 25 Jun 2026
