As the new year begins, our sisters in Venezuela, Gaza, Congo, Sudan, Ukraine, Haiti, Afghanistan, Myanmar and Nigeria are facing siege, occupation, and escalating violence. Our 2026 call is a direct response to the macho, imperialist, patriarchal domination playing out across the globe - violence that devastates women, children, families, and the Earth. RISE FOR OUR BODIES, OUR FUTURE, OUR EARTH is an invitation to survivors, artists, and activists everywhere to RISE in 2026. One Billion Rising is the largest global campaign to end violence against women, gender-expansive people, and the Earth. We rise to expose the rampant impunity survivors face and to declare that we have not been defeated.
