Join us for a special free screening of Revival to gather and remember our dear friend, Timothy White Eagle.
Revival is an immersive ritualistic theater and installation work by beloved Seattle-based Indigenous artist Timothy White Eagle and his team of collaborators, The Violet Triangle–Paul Budraitis, HATLO, and John Kendall Wilson.
This theater work is rooted in ritual theater and explores one of the oldest and most universal myths. Timothy was well-known for artworks and live experiences that juxtapose the profane with the sacred.

A Breath Together
Beloved Community,
It is with profound love and deep sorrow that we share the news that Timothy White Eagle has died.
There is mourning to be done. There are memories that will come. There are stories to be shared. There are things to understand and things to plan. There is grief to be released—and recaptured, and released again.
There may be tears. Laughter. Anger. Disbelief, relief, gratitude, silence. There may even be wailing and rending of clothes. He was—and is, after all—gleefully theatrical. So really, the sky is the limit.
There are thousands of us scattered across this country and around the world who have been touched by Timothy's life. Whatever your relationship, whatever this news brings, there is no wrong way to grieve.
Right now, let’s all take care of ourselves, and each other. Let’s sit still, for just a moment. Drink some clean, cool water. Let that cigarette go out, and watch and see how and where the smoke moves.
Breathe.
Sit with any big decisions. Give yourselves permission not to know what comes next. Give one another room for whatever arises.
Take care.
There will be time ahead for all the work—for the stories, the ceremonies, the gatherings, the practical things, and learning how to live in a world without Timothy’s physical presence.
For now, sit still.
Timothy lived his life in ritual, in movement, in art, and in devotion to the sacred. What he carried into the world did not belong only to him. It moved through him and into all of us. The dances, the rituals, the teachings, the laughter, the beauty, the trouble, the love—all of it has become part of the living fabric of this community.
So wherever you are, whatever you are feeling, know that you are not grieving alone. And in this moment, remember — please remember — the words Timothy spoke to us so many times:
“I invite us all to take a breath together.”
So let’s do that now.
Wherever you are.
Breathe.
-- The Care Team
*The Team will be keeping this page up for an appropriate amount of time and posting updates as well as celebrating his prolific life and art.

As many of you know, I am living with pancreatic cancer. Recently, complications related to my illness led to a serious medical event that landed me in the ICU for several days.
I made it through, and I am now out of the ICU and recovering in the hospital, surrounded and cared for by family and friends. I am not entirely out of the woods yet, but I am doing much better and am deeply grateful for the care I have received and for all the love that has been sent my way.
Unfortunately, because of this medical event and the recovery ahead, I need to cancel the upcoming performances of Timothy White Eagle Has No Shame at Town Hall Seattle.
I want to extend my deep gratitude to everyone at @townhall_seattle for the tremendous support, care, and hard work they have already put into bringing this show to the stage. I very much hope to return and share this work with you in the future.
And thank you to everyone who bought tickets, shared the performances, promoted the show, and was planning to join me. Your support of this new work has meant so much.
Like so many working artists, my income is directly tied to my ability to make, perform, and present my work. Having to cancel these performances means losing that income at the same time that the costs associated with my medical care and recovery continue to grow.
If you are able, please consider supporting my GoFundMe, link in bio. Contributions will help provide some financial stability and relief while I focus on healing and recovery.
I have spent much of my life trying to show up generously, for my art, for the people I love, and for the communities that have held me. Right now, I am asking that community to show up for me.
Whether you donate, share the fundraiser, send love, or simply keep me in your thoughts, I am deeply grateful.
Thank you for holding me close.
Also, I might be slow to respond to messages - thank you for your patience!

Happy (recent) Birthday to ME!
And to celebrate I want to announce my new solo show “Timothy White Eagle Has No Shame” at @townhall_seattle Sept 10th and 17th!
I’m bringing you a new solo piece letting you in on the divine perversions and delicate deliverances of my life. I’m pairing up with dramaturg @wear_yr_hatlo and Town Hall to bring you the stories you’d never thought you’d hear on stage.
The loves, the lusts, and the magic that affirm the body was never the enemy, but the doorway to something greater…

Last Saturday we launched Path of Water during the closing reception for Once Wild River. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the closing of one major show and the opening of a project that flows into the world as a blessing.
The Path of Water is a Guided Alternative Soundscape that you can listen to when you visit the Duwamish river (or any river or on any walk) that is designed to re-route your mind into connection with the spirit of place and story. Just click the link, follow the website down to the tracks, hit play and you will be greeted by a collection of speakers all masterfully edited and produced by @crystalquartez.
The Path of Water lives online at: https://www.4culture.org/public_art/path-of-water/ as well as on numerous beautiful graphic signs posted at different public parks and locations along the Duwamish. We will release those locations soon!
This project brings together storytellers, Duwamish Councilman Ken Workman and q̓ʷat̓ələmu ɫukʷalabəɫ ~ Nancy Jo Bob (Duwamish/Lummi) alongside her daughter qʷəlišəbəɫ Qwulishubulh Mae Bob (Puyallup/Lummi/Duwamish) with support from qəɫtəblu ~ Tami Hohn (Puyallup).
I also tell a story - the often unseen story of the industrial transformation of the Duwamish and it’s effect on the people of the land and the spirit of this river.
Please check it out, have a listen and let us know what you experienced while listening. (Link in bio)
This project couldn’t have happened without the support of @kc4culture and the @kingcountywtd many thanks!
