Once upon a time, not to far ago. I walked through one of the darkest seasons of my life.
I left the comfort of stability to start my own business while listening to a quiet inner voice telling me I needed to change my life completely. Part of that journey included surgery to remove my breast implants ; something my intuition had been asking me to do for years.
During surgery, the implants were found ruptured. Everything became far more complicated, emotionally and financially, than I could have imagined. At the same time, projects disappeared, friendships shifted, and the version of myself people were comfortable with no longer existed.
I felt lost.
So I sold most of my belongings and bought a one-way ticket to Italy.
Bella Maria, my dog 🐕 came with me.
We volunteered on an olive farm in Sardegna, and somehow, that decision saved me.
Italy reminded me how to breathe again.
The slow living.
The simplicity.
The silence.
The humanity.
3 months later When I returned to Los Angeles, I realized healing also meant walking away from anything that disrupted my peace, old narratives, unhealthy dynamics, chaos, environments, and even people I had known for years.
I started over humbly.
Working different jobs.
Finding unexpected peace at the front desk of a yoga studio.
Quietly rebuilding myself without knowing exactly where life would take me.
Then one of those angels, my friend Oshry from @royvainc, looked at me and said:
“Baby, you’re ready.”
This installation became the meeting point between two aligned visions and a friendship built on trust, creativity, emotional honesty, and mutual respect.
Room #40 is ultimately about this:
Joy is not something you find outside of yourself.
It begins within you.
And sometimes healing is simply finding your way back to peace again.

Archives from my metal world.
In 2020, I was commissioned to fabricate this piece for @Beverly Point Design.
The brief called for a hand-worked, hammered texture, and the process gave me the chance to really play with blue patinas.
I fell so in love with this piece that, honestly, it was hard to let it go.
Swipe through the process: patina tests, textures, fabrication, and the making of this very special piece.
And now, years later, I got to reimagine it in my dream setting👌
Monochrome blue. Moody. Sculptural. Almost like denim, but in metal.
That part really got me thinking.
I would love to explore this language more in the luxury fashion world, metal, patina, objects, sets, surfaces ; somewhere between sculpture and style.
If blue were a person, this patina would be the summer love you never quite get over. 💙

From renderings to an unannounced soft opening.
Yesterday was The Arepa Stand's first low-key debut during the Mar Vista Night Market hosted by @saba_surf .
After weeks of design, construction, problem-solving, paint, dust, and countless decisions, the space finally welcomed its first guests.
Watching neighbors gather, friends reconnect, and people experience the restaurant for the first time is always my favorite part.
A space isn't finished when construction ends.
It comes alive when people fill it.
Congratulations to the entire Arepa Stand team, and thank you for trusting me to help bring this project to life. ❤️

Oops! And there it is… life making me stop to remind me to take it easy. Knowing that It’s working for me, not against me, even when it really doesn’t feel like it. 🥹
Classic LA: busy, hectic weeks of work. Feeling grateful, trying to stay grounded, and balancing everything at the same time.
After a week without working out (because of work!!!), I was determined not to let another week pass.
And there I was… texting and working between sets. Distracted. One bad move, and suddenly I was decommissioned for almost a whole week, and still recovering.
So: keeping the calm, taking a breath, going with the flow, and making the best of it.
Back injuries are not fun, but this one was a reminder to slow down. Be present. Work when I’m working, and let my personal time actually be personal time.
Stay present. Don’t panic. 👀✌️

From an old neighborhood gym to a highly intentional Pigtooth General Store.
Thoughtfully contributing to a neighborhood is one of those things that fills my heart, and if you know me, you know I take it very seriously. Cultural awareness, respect for what is already there, and a real connection with the neighborhood are so important when creating a small business that is becoming part of a community.
So when it came time to align the brand with the interior design and figure out how that language could extend all the way to the exterior mural, I knew I had to call my branding mastermind, @zacharykiernan to help me solve the puzzle and articulate visually Pigtooth in the most authentic way.
After working together on my personal brand, we discovered what a combo Zach and I are!
Super excited to bring him into this project and watch this world take form.
